First day ended up calling helpline after having trouble he put me on hold and would get right back to me. I waited 20 minutes and he never even verified he was there. Tried second day and used passport card. Should have used passport. There was nothing available to take photo of backside. Being a first time user I was very disappointed but at least I was able to submit this and now I'll wait 2 or 3 days for my final verification.
It was real essay...and went real fast...the longest time I had to wait was for agent and that 5minutes...
When I got the notification that I had to verify my identity. My phone was off so when I was at work I couldn't work on it until I got home to use my wifi so it took me 4 or 5 days to get it done. Like I said time consuming.
The experience was very good. It is a safe platform to trust and we hope our data is not compromised.

The selfie option is an elaborate way to tell you that your phone sucks. The video call option tells you not to step away for the next 20 minutes while you wait, and then it keeps you waiting for over 3 hours.
Have used idme in the past for njdol twice. First time was a nightmare, second was decent. Now I had to use it for my federal return and it is useless. Why have all my info if you can't help me?

I have to keep logging in and obtaining a code when clicking on different tabs within the site. It seems to me that once logged in, one shouldn't have to re-log in.
