Having an account with ID.me is beneficial for the subject individuals. It allows Veterans to be identified quickly with a few short questions in order to participate with many of the merchants offering discounts to Veterans, and registering with ID.me allow one login for many governmental accounts. Helps to simplify your life in this login crazy world.
I am not happy I have not been able to log in after creating my account. I've cleared my browser. I spent half the day rebooting my system.

My name contains a suffix! However, that is ignored when asked to verify the name on document versus the name they display for verification! (there is a spot to edit name, which I did each time to reflect my suffix) - To speak with someone via video chat, they force you to upload 3 forms of verification. On the 3 document the message I received was editing requires you to restart! I Emailed asking for a manager to contact me - Needless to say NO ONE DID. So THEY FORCED ME TO LIE to talk with an agent.

This was my first experience utilizing ID.me; however, I found the system user friendly especially important given the fact I am a senior citizen.
They took their time and made sure that I have everything I need completed so I can get my unemployment on time.
It was a video call on campus. He explained you will need to show your state I.D. card or driver's license on camera. Also your social security card. Just pay attention to what he or she says and verify your identity.
Overall the process was good, but taking a picture of the driver's license was difficult due to tremors.
