My experience was a great experience no hassle real easy to use and I will recommend family and friends
While attempting to create my ID.me account, I kept getting error messages on my cell phone when trying to verify identity, specifically 1) taking & uploading driver's license photos 2) taking a selfie photo of my face. I would have to start over from the beginning login each time an error message appeared as it locked my cell phone browser. Each time i subsequently logged in, I was moved to the next step of the process, meaning that the previous function I was performing when I got the error message was actually successful. Eventually, the creation process was completed successfully. Another issue was that after creation, my ID.me login to my Social Security account was not recognized until about 15 minutes after creation. On 2nd attempt to SSI after the 15 minutes, everything worked fine.

Someone is paying for this, and chances are good that the money ultimately started from the end-user's pocket in one way or another -- taxes, higher product/service prices -- the only place the money won't be coming from is the pockets of the executives.
Secure? Not likely. How many "secure" companies have been breached? No one is above being hacked sooner or later. My opinion is that the very companies selling security services also, somewhere in the deep background, are the perpetrators of the "breaches" -- what better way to scare us into using their services?

It was very fast and efficient to verify my identity on Id.me
Having an account with ID.me is beneficial for the subject individuals. It allows Veterans to be identified quickly with a few short questions in order to participate with many of the merchants offering discounts to Veterans, and registering with ID.me allow one login for many governmental accounts. Helps to simplify your life in this login crazy world.
I am not happy I have not been able to log in after creating my account. I've cleared my browser. I spent half the day rebooting my system.
