Had IDme, got a new phone, lost password. Can get no help. Texas Workforce doesn't want to give people money and the IRS doesn't want to give you income tax money owed to you. So IDme is PERFECT way to avoid continuing the process because even tho you could easily download everything without them- WITH IDme- everything becomes extra complicated.

Used ID.me to complete the application process for state benefits last year. Was impressed at the ease of use. Was able to upload copies of required documents easily and complete the needed video recording on my smart phone without issues. Subsequently used ID.me to access my IRS portal and public health insurance pages. Having gone through it once meant not having to complete most of the process again (had to do the video recording again, but it went quickly since it literally took seconds to finish). The directions provided at each step were intuitive and user friendly.
Since I am not good at online stuff, I was ignoring it for long time. But with the help of my kids I started to learn and do it. I found it easier to follow the instructions and go through step by step and was able to complete it.

I wouldn't mind if ID me became universally available. Log in to most websites. So they're wouldn't you need to be the remembering of passwords and different usernames? And I could just use one main account to log in to all of my other accounts that would make things a lot. Easier and definitely more simple to manage

Whether it be for a football game for a hotel, a plane, a rental car, you name it.They have availability.

I am a small business owner and My most frustrating experience has been trying to access IRS website using id.me as long in. After spending severely hours unsuccessfully trying to connect with them over the phone, I had to resort to this option. Anyways, I ended up sending all appeal documents via certified mail anyway!
My spouse has ChampVA benefits. ID.me will not permit her to access her information on their website.

I thought it would be more difficult as I am not very tech savvy but it was quick and easy to verify me. Clear instructions and they lead you through and instructions were clear.
After three attempts to complete the registration we were finally able to complete it. The triple verification was a major hassle.
