I couldn't log in to my account because I no longer had the same number or phone I used to make my account I contacted customer service they closed my account so I was able to remake my account and it took less than 24 hours for me to do that so it was a quick fix.

The whole process of attempting to prove my identity using ID.me, in order to get an Identity theft PIN from IRS, was incredibly complex for me, since I am not very comfortable trying to enter a video call on my computer. It turned out OK, but would have been impossible without the help of my techie son.
