This is my first time using this ID.me. Signing up for unemployment. I hope everything went through correctly and I hear back from Unemployment that all went through.
I feel the system is very secure. The verification checks are needed and excellent. I also like the system is user friendly and easy to navigate around. For me and most people, these are very important features.
Utilizes servicemembers VA records as hostage to gain access to more personal information. Absolutely disgusting that the VA has resorted to this type of bullying.
Used the tool to set up access to my IRS account. Phone app required many retries, even after a "successful" selfie session, then the web app and/data processing to complete account set up required multiple retries and ultimately said it failed for no stated reason, but yet the account actually was set up and worked to give me access. One way or another, it is not trustworthy. Either it should have said the set up was successful, or the account should not have been set up because something was wrong (and hence the failure message).
So I was glad to finally get some help with getting me going. But other than that everything went smoothly.
