Never able to verify military experience. There is no option to upload supporting documents. You simply fill out some information to verify. Then, you're told it was unable to verify. Since when did ID.me become the determining factor in whether 25 yrs in the military counts as service. It was easier & less frustrating to get my VA disability approved.
The technology requirements and skill level required are not suitable for a disabled adult with outdated technology. There is no work around or live assistance available. I attempted to help my disabled adult brother living in another state but failed. He is attempting to have the dignity of self-reliance by creating access to online accounts, yet the experience with ID.me was discouraging and denigrating.
It was impossible to go through the self service setup, as they rejected the only phone number I've had for years. Fortunately, when I had to do the video meet with an agent, they were able to get everything set up. Unfortunately, this was after wasting an hour of my time.

Your system is just plain terrible. With the current system that ends the 31st of January 2025 it takes less than a minute to sign in and it is user friendly where yours is definitely not.

I uploaded my driver's license twice, but ID.me continues to report my age incorrectly to Fleet Farm regarding an ammunition purchase, so the purchase fails. The requirement is that I be 21, and I'm actually 60 years old. If the Fleet Farm site did not require ID.me, then I could have purchased the product online, saving a 60 minute round-trip to the store.
