My experience was very quick and simple. They provided me with everything I asked for, I also did a video call which was very exciting because they're making sure you get the right support and help you need.

I called to get help from the VA to open an account. He was very nice and we started the process but ran into a glitch. He tried another way to bypass the problem which didn't work. This was after I uploaded the photos.i was doing this for my veteran who has Alzheimer's and is my husband.
Why must we suffer with ever-expanding, extreme measures to guard ourselves and our data against criminals? I thought if you committed a crime, you went to prison. Not so with cyber crimes. So the burden is on us, the honest people. And it grows heavier until it breaks us.
I understand the need for secure methods for identification. This is not the way to go about it. Confusing, inconsistent, redundant are three words I would use to describe the process.
I would like to know how and what I need to do to keep my ID.me file up to date.

For the most part you are walked thru the steps. I didn't get verification that I did it correctly.
The worst software I have ever tried to use if you live outside
the US. If you don't have a US driver's license you cannot get into it Whoever thought that up should be fired
