The VA changed their login process for MyHealtheVet to require a verified ID.me or a VA.gov account. I'm unable to drive so I do not have a driver's license or state ID. I do have a VA issued picture Health ID. The ID.me website says this can be used as an alternate primary ID, but the verification process rejects it. Customer Service was of no help and didn't seem to understand the issue on even a basic level. So essentially - my VA issued Health ID was not an acceptable ID to log on to the VA health website. Which seems absurd.

I have trouble to login to my IRS account for my phone can not get code. The ID verify by ID.me code generater is an excellent way to login to my government's account. The most conventional is I can get verify by camera call to get MFA ID verify,that is so covenant.

I was advised to do this to prevent identity theft. But the first MFA code I was sent could not be entered. Then I was allowed to continue. At the end of taking the selfie, there was a message that the process did not work but I received a second MFA text that I entered and apparently the process went through. I have done this now, but wish I had not as my gut feeling is that this may be a scam. If I were you, I would avoid.
Everything was pretty simple. I, of course, always have a little trouble with something minor. LOL.
