I had never created an ID.me account when I received a letter from the IRS July 2023 stating my information had been accessed through their online services using an ID.me login. I suspect my information/biometric data was hijacked when roughly a month before I had done in-person verification for Homeland Security's KTN program- through a fourth party Staples location. Idemia is the parent company of ID.me and also verifies for the KTN. Over roughly 18 months I have never received a response from ID.me help.
The 1st agent wasn't helpful; her body language was none caring. The 2nd agent which was African American was beautiful very helpful.
Even though I did a verification I never going to ID I never got to get into my IRS because someone else has my information I've been trying to contact you guys and ask you but nobody ever got back with me

I was getting some business stickers and letterhead envelopes at Vista Print and ID.me popped up at check out. At 1st I was like, $5.00... $10.00... come on for cryin' out loud. But it was at Vista Print and my experiences with them have always been awesome. Wouldn't you know, the 1st time they glitched. The 1st time I gave them a service date near the start. The second time I gave a date closer to my discharge and it went right through. Bam! It recalculated my order instantly. My total dropped from $247.00 to $198.00. Thank you ID.me and Vista Print! You'll never know how much it meant to me. When it comes to showing your appreciation to veterans, you deserve a medal and thank you for your service!

I couldn't get ID me to work and tried to start a "ticket". There was no option listed that described my problem and no option for "other". The organization I was trying to access was also not listed as an option. I still haven't heard from customer service. If you can avoid this company,do.

I was in a financial bind and my taxes were delayed. With ID.me it enabled me to access my pin immediately which allowed me to efile rather than snail mail which I was told would take approximately 6 weeks, which would have put me in the hole even more! Thank you ID.me 😁👍

I went on ID.me and had my document rejected by an agent that looked down on my disability and told me that because of my disability he would have to end my video conference. He gave me no options and no consideration. He could have allowed me to talk to another agent or a manager, but he chose not to.
