Just after completing the personal identification portion of the process, I stepped away from the computer due to household necessity, only to return to an error message telling me that it was necessary to start over. I logged back in and immediately found myself back in the correct next step in the recovery process. Expecting to have to start over, I was pleasently surprised.
Using id.me was a game changer for me. It provided a secure and reliable way to verify my identity online, which made it much easier to access important benefits and services when I needed them most. I would definitely to anyone needing fast and secure access to government or health related services.
This was a whole new thing for me. I had taken a selfie before so that went OK. But getting my drivers license so it could be read took a few tries. Once you've read the instructions trust that you can do it! It's taking the photo's and the selfie then watching how fast it downloads. Quite the experience!

I had used my phone to take images of documents, but could not return to the original Tab. I thought I had messed up again. But when I went back to my laptop, it had received & verified my documents. It didn't tell me to return to the laptop - just to "original Tab". It was confusing & frustrating.
