I liked that the documents can be uploaded online, but I didn't like that I was forced to go through verification via video call, since I am a foreigner and do not speak English, and I had to ask my friend to be my translator. Otherwise, everything was fine. The officer was polite and friendly.

My first time experience was quick and easy. I understood the steps and I already had an Authenticator app installed so that helped the process a lot better for me. They make sure they email you and text you with updates and I love how quick and smooth it was. I was able to use my phone to upload pictures with no issues and that's always a plus for me.
It would appear as if the government uses ID.me to make it extremely difficult if not impossible to log on, not for security, because everyone who works for the government are lazy worthless POS.

Setting up ID. Me is very easy even for an elderly person. This is a government website to trust your personal information with.
Run! This is a useless service that does not work. It pretends to verify you but it actually doesn't do $#*!. Then, when you try to use it you find out that you're unverified. Don't even think about getting tech support - all they'll do is send you to their worthless FAQs. You have never used a worst service ever, and I don't recommend trying.
