Do not email you back. Did not give my ID or face scan to Texas Workforce so they denied my claim. This is April 2021.
On 22 Apr 2021 10:00 A.M. I entered the Ft Walton Beach Fl Unemployment Office and was sat down at a computer terminal. After entering information not necessary for an unemployment claim, the monitor informed me I had an eMail. I was in the Unemployment Office and therefor an eMail was stupid. I went home to reed the eMail. It was from ID.me, not the Unemployment Office, and it was expired. I was also told I needed a Cell Phone to take pictures of my forms of ID. As a former Law Enforcement Specialist USAF I was trained ID must be physically handled to insure authenticity. Cell Phone pictures make this an impossibility. Many people have been finger printed in this country. I can walk into many police stations in this country and be 100% ID'd in less than 5 minutes. Why is Florida paying for this less than 100 % secure service. I will make an honest effort to work around this incompetence. If unsucessful, I will call a LAWYER!

I am currently in id.me hell. This site is so clunky it can't even figure out how to put a giant "click here to upload your id" button on the site - the articles they offer up as "help" are worthless. The merry-go-round is absurd. Must be a government site. I tried the app - it's just as bad. I hate this website.

Trying to get verified with ID.ME for Georgia Labor Dept. Despite providing the documentation as required (passport and DL), I was forwarded to the service. Their forecast time to get an "agent" for a video conference was 4 hours and 44 minutes at 8 PM. When the clock reached 12 minutes to wait, it got stuck and did not change for nearly one hour. So I went to ID.ME site to ask for help and filled out a request for help. This at 2 AM! Minutes later, I received an e-mail saying to click on the button to be verified. Poor me, Instead of being verified, the clock went backwards and showed the wait time to be 2 hours and 50minutes. So that will put me close to 5 AM to get someone to "verify" me.
This looks like a scam agreed with the Georgia Labor department officials to supress the rampant unemployment caused by COVID in a State where the governor was completely irresponsible.
On the other hand, I wonder if there could be a class suit against this company for not providing the necessary service for possibly thousands of people waiting to be "verified".

Wait of 5+ hours. When the session finally starts, no one actually speaks with you. They just reject your documents with no conversation about it — even when they are clearly in the wrong. Their interface is buggy to begin with. E.g. The taking of selfies.

There is absolutely ZERO customer support, I've submitted around 20 support requests the last month and NOTHING, few robot emails saying they care about my business and will be in contact soon. The owner had it running on autopilot and doesn't care about anything but his bank account,, leaving thousands of us BROKE AND SOME HAVE BECOME HOMELESS because of this $#*!. The service first wouldn't accept my documents and I spent weeks just trying to enter my information. I am a child of divorce so having a middle name and two last names made it difficult just to get everything settled. This part took WEEKS.
The service does not run for 24-7, you can tell because they kick you off at midnight and the times never change. They don't answer calls, it's a huge run around asking for document after document just so you can get unemployment. Some of us have duties to our families since we can't contribute financially to our households so this is tolling and difficult. I have been waiting for 25+ hour. I waited through the night and currently am dealing with a screaming baby just to get one appointment. They keep rejecting my documents. I am me, not some stupid person in Russia "steal American unemployment." Stop using unreasonable services to prevent people down on their luck from getting money that doesn't even cover rent! Imagine if i had to sit in a public library to do this. The time for being on the computer would run out and I would never be able to be assisted! This is such a classist thing to do!

Ive been on hold for 5 hours multiple times to get my unemployment benefits and they dont even answer the call. They just deny my documents and move on and im left starting all over again. This is a waste of time and a terrible waste of our taxpayer dollars. Plan on wasting your time with this company who is making money while you sit there and get nothing from them. Ive been trying to get my documents verified by a "trusted referee" for 3 days now and nothing. I sat on hold for 3 hours this morning for them to deny my documents and move on and leave me at square 1 again...

In my opinion, Id.me is actually functioning as a go between to prevent people from succeeding in verifying their identities so certain organizations who use them can "ethically " deny benefits. The mistakes in their processes, circular links, asking questions until you fail, requiring users to own a cell phone, dropped calls, and long waits all point to stonewalling. I talked to a government call center representative who said 80% of people fail to make it through the Id.me verification process. It is quite ingenious if you stand back and watch what is really happening. Of course they could prove me wrong by functioning correctly and helping you to succeed 80%+. Then there's the question what happens to all your information they now have after they have verified you?

I have been trying for 2 days to get verified by them and it is not working. I can't get help from a person other a quick phone call from a "referee" that disconnects me after a few seconds because "I was waiting for you to join". Terrible service. Unable to reach anyone thru the only support option they have, emailing. It has been 2 MONTHS since they messed up my Pandemic Unemployment and I have been unable to get ANYONE to reply to me! I have already contacted news organizations as well as the BBB. This company has caused frustration, mental anguish, nightmares. When you are forced to your knees to use a company to verify your identity and the service is faulty. There is nowhere to turn. I see that others have posted screenshots so I won't post the more than 50 that I've collected in a week. The ceo is a bunch of babble and fingerpointing. We can't verify because of YOU, sir. We are not Russian fraudsters. The unemployment department for Colorado is an apparent partner in crime. They let millions fall through the cracks and now WE are being punished. Would someone please take notice and help us?! All of this because my phone number is flagged as suspicious. My phone number... again- a cell i've had for over a year... the same cell that they have sent me countless codes to log in. The same cell the employment office has on file. I am not excited about being unemployed. This is new to me. I am not milking the system. I just need to make sure I can pay the rent as I continue to seek employment.

If you can get verified another way then avoid ID.me like the plague. Their software absolutely does not work to verify and they do not care to fix it. People's livelihoods depend on getting verified like millions of Americans filing for unemployment. It's a frustrating shameful nightmare where the media needs to get involved to reveal how ID.me manipulates people. Report them to your government officials to hire another company.

I have spent weeks trying to be certified to keep my unemployment with the state of texas. Which has now been with held from me... 2 email address a 100 calls and left massages (because no one works there) never have I talked to a person, the virtual assistant is a joke... I would like to know who took the bribe in texas state government to do this to the unemployed? It is obviously a scheme to collect our personal information... but with dire consequences... as you have NO CHOICE but to surrender.
