I've already had my Driver License photo (front and back) saved to a file from other processes so this made the ID.me process very quick and painless for me. I just uploaded my already saved DL photos then did a quick selfie on my phone from a link they sent me and I was verified soon after. Very streamlined. That really works for me.

ID.me requires an early wait just to get in video. This process combined with the process of other applications makes things frustrating. They should streamline the process and not be cheap about money in order to make customers happy.
