Once I had ID Me qualifying for anything became a slam dunk. Prior to having it it was a drudge, but not anymore.
Inconsistent access. Although my ID has been verified it's not possible to access the VA Access website. That site claims my ID.me is not valid. Makes no sense and resolving the issue has proven to be impossible.

Initially somewhat difficult. However, some of the issues where lack of technology and first-time use. Which did not involve any conversation with an ID.me employee. (Hey that rhymes). After that all ID.me employees I dealt with where knowledgeable, processional and helpful. So, if we can do this for state benefits, job verification and other. Why can't we implement this for voting. This way dead people, dogs, cats, criminals, border crosser (illegal immigrants) and whoever else cheats can't vote. After all this is the most precious cival liberty we have. Otherwise, banana republic hear we come. Remember, TRUST but VERIFY!

I am very pleased with the security measures that were in place during the verification process in order to make sure " I was me." Not only that, but I was surprised that when I went to create another online account with a different government agency, I received a prompt allowing me to connect my newly created account with my already existing ID me account, and I didn't need to go through the verification process again. I just clicked the yes button and ID me created the account for me. Once you go through the process, and believe me, you'll be happy that you did. Life on government websites. I. E. IRS.gov or DMV.com e. T. c anything that requires extra verification. All you need to do is go through the process once and you're done! Great Idea!

The 3 week wait to get a live person was very frustrating. However, when I was connected to a live person( John) he was extremely helpful.
John said NY unemployment probably would take another 14-15 days. It's 14 days today. Hopefully he was right and I'll start to get my unemployment checks soon.
