Hi my name is Melissa B. I am here to go through the ID me process so I can get my identification back. I'm not really sure how to go about this whole process other then interviews that are virtual and a lot of paperwork to fill out over the Internet. I'm doing this so I can apply for unemployment hopefully the process is easy so that I can go forward with continuing forward with my new goals in life. I can tell you now though it would've been really nice to figure out how to have a guidance in to where you start off with ID me. That is probably been my hardest thing so far but I am very grateful that they do have ways out there for people to find identity. So for that Thank you!

I had a very hard time trying to get my forms of ID okayed... kept trying multiple times. It was very difficult to get ahold of someone to talk to. I did do a chat with someone named DJ... who at least trying to be of help. I got stuck when the site asked for a second phone number... my husband finally put in his phone number and my IDs. Then it was accepted. If it wasn't for him... I would probably still be trying to upload my IDs. Either they should have a person you can talk on the phone or they should be very specific as to the second phone number. It was a very frustrating experience for me.

I had a problem initially following the prompts to take pictures because I didn't allow permissions for my browser to access my camera. I did have a live webcam interview with a wonderful representative who was based in Massachusetts who was very helpful, patient and knowledgeable.

I am a retired person. InitiaIly I was quite hesitant to sign up for the access to my account with the IRS, since I thought that the whole process would be quite complicated and I may not be able to complete that by myself, and that I may have to ask one of my adult children for assistance. My experience was horrible until a agent finaly helped me. I waited for one year and 6 months to finally get help from an agent my account was locked I lost out on all my P u e d money because I was working and I'm still fighting to try to get my money if this would have got resolved maybe 2 months after my problem started it would have been a hell of a lot better for me
