Ok so I had alot of the docs scanned in so I liked that I had those ready. However, the system failed to verify me with the initial docs and request. So then I had to do a visual recognition and provide more docs. Which I did. Once I got on the visual verification part it was great and very easy and innovative. It just took almost 3 hours to do the whole thing. But if you need a copy of a return, it is simple. Just be sure to read what docs are needed so you have them scanned in already.

Being prepared with documents before starting the loading up is important, makes everything run faster. Especially if a certain document is declined. I needed a different ID document that seemed a better choice; didn't really know why 1st choice wasn't accepted. But overall, everything went smooth.

I had an issue with resetting my account password and changing my account phone number. The site kept sending a verification text to an old phone number I had, and could not sign into my ID.me account. Reached out to support to remove that phone number and MFA to be able to log in and update my settings.
