I was content to wait the 20 minutes for the interview to begin as I watched the time tick down, well mostly down, sometimes it went up but at least I had some notion of when the interview would begin. But when the time was up and I clicked the link to bring up the video screen I waited some 20 minutes with nothing but a repeated recording telling me the interview would begin "shortly." I think maybe the definition of "shortly" must be different at ID.me than the one we find in the dictionary. Further, it seems to me that the purpose of ID.me is to keep every American under 24/7 surveillance.
