First off, I am trying to access my tax records so I can imagine there needs to be verification at hand. Okay, no problem! I scanned my required documents like my ID, birth certificate, and SSN Card. All went well. Then they wanted me to take a video selfie. That's okay, after all what if someone stole my documents? Well, the website doesn't work with my smartphone camera on the browser, both were tried with Firefox and the built in chrome browser. No luck there. Fine, I go and do the video selfie on my laptop with all my extensions disabled and all went well, it scanned my face while flashing colors. Then it wants to verify me with my phone number. I put in my phone number and it failed to verify me after a good hour or two trying to figure out this nonsense! I guess maybe I have my phone number under my parent's name? It gave me an option to just roll with the video chat. I do that and REUPLOAD my documents againnnnn and it tells me an email will happen in TWO DAYS! As I am typing this, it has been over 12 hours and I have yet to hear a peep from them whatsoever! This is a ridiculous verification scheme that wasted HOURS of my time!
