One divorce, and being remarried, I was working for the Federal Government when 9/11 happened. The government was checking all their employees. They found I had aliases! Working over 32 years, being a female, I had credit and items purchased in my previous name(1st marriage), my present married name, not to mention, that the only legal documents with my first name was my birth certificate, passport, and drivers license. All my other financials AND MY Social Security Card began with my middle name. It was a nightmare getting the government to understand I was who I was. I am grateful that ID.me was able to verify (ID) me so when I logged on to Login.Gov I had no problems.
