In 2021, I became acquainted with ID.me, & something about the way the system - & reason for it, was explained (reading from an online portal, through an employment service, while applying for unemployment) gave me the endurance to wade, & wait, through a complex, & over-crowded, situation. Many of us were - suddenly, out of work, & out of state, in some cases. ID.Me seemed to accommodate for every inconvenience. I was able to use my Twitter Account, & had a sense of not being abandoned - even if/when the system seemed overwhelmed. There was - repeated, effort to Skype/Zoom (video chat), & I was amazed - on a holiday week-end, I was able to - finally, connect, & get all things verified.

It took 3 attempts to finally get them to ID me. The first 2 attempts I had used a state document that had my full name and address on it along with the state info on it and they could not identify me. On the 3 attempt, I used the state ID cards and finally they were able to ID me. What a hassle.
