I downloaded the app a few weeks ago. I made a couple of small purchases and things went fine. So, a few non-parishables we use were on the app. I decided to stock up and save. I followed all of the user requirements, did not exceed purchase item limits, my accounts were linked and went through Ibotta to order from walmart.com. I only have one account (ever) with Ibotta and only on one device. My reciept was electronic and same day. My account was immediately locked to "protect my rewards". The app says that when you purchase through walmart.com that the rewards are immediate as soon as the items are rec'd, and that you'll be able to withdraw within minutes. Still, Ibotta is keeping my account locked in order to "validate". My account had already been validated with the two small purchases a week prior and through me linking all of my banking apps, etc. That isn't the reason. In the end, it's false advertising, they are billing brands for coupon use but not paying the people using the coupons, and have very poor customer service as well. If they won't pay on time, or at all, then this is equal to a scam. Users beware.

I'm not sure why people don't like this app. I love it. And I have contacted customer service with little effort. And they solved whatever my issue was. Just check on the list of items for the store you are at. Buy 1 of the items and you get rebates(money) back. Money back on items you are already going to buy. Who doesn't like cash back?. I personally have bought a few items that I have never tried because it was cheaper to buy because of the rebate. I suggest this app to everyone. So try it I'm sure you will like it.

Satisfied with the service. Cashed out almost $200 since January but could've cashed out more if I used actively. Best money making app I've used

I've saved and earned so much money using Ibotta! It's a great app to help you save money on food and every day household items.

It's really nice give u money back quick and u can cashed it out quick and use it again to buy more stuff

Just used for the first time. Seems to be rather user friendly. Earned over 13.00 first trip to grocery store. Nothing purchased was off my normal list. Looks like all my coupons will be in one place. Can scan every item to see if a deal is available than select to your list, checkout, scan your receipt and all done. Was at Walmart, do not have loyalty card as cost does not save me enough. Interested to see how my Food Lion Card works next week.

Amazing customer service, even when I've made a mistake, never have they made me feel as if I'm a nincompoop! Endless products and stores, easy to maneuver and instant payout over $20. I just hit $2500 club. Ibotta sure helped stretch the dollar this year. Forever grateful.

I've had this app for a couple of years. Its aways been good to me. Even when I've forgotten the email I used and my account was shut down. I got a response same day and had my account back open with proper email. Then a few months later my phone got stolen and whomever stole it was trying to log into thier ibotta on my phone so my account got shut down. Once again I received a response same day and same day my account was fixed. I've only had 1 instance where something was not credited and same as before I received a response same day and issue was resolved the next day. This is a great app and you can show at so many places. I recommend

All of my items have matched several times from Walmart and they were even approved! Then it says $0.00 earned! I submitted about 7 times even typing in the number. I can also link this acct to my credit card and they don't match all my items and it is like pulling eyeteeth to get my money and items matched! This has happened several times! Great way to earn money when you get what is promised! It was exciting at first and now it is very stressful and a let down :(

Won't give you your referral bonus when you refer someone, not worth wasting your time on, I referred my daughter and she got her bonus but I never got mine

This app has been so easy and worth every amount of effort it takes to use it. Ibotta is a team app that you along with your friends can earn extra money. Getting Cashback on purchases through Ibotta has helped tremendously when I've been in a pinch.

I have used Ibotta for about 6 months now. I got an email the other day 4 days ago actually and it said that my account was being reviewed and that's all it says so I've been asking everyday you know what's going on when I get the same thing an account is being reviewed that's all they're saying to me then today after the last one of those emails it says my account is deactivated and it says the same thing the account is being reviewed. They can't tell me why it's deactivated just that it's been deactivated or they don't want to I had 20 bucks in referrals to referrals that they took so they have two more customers and they took that money from me I had $23 left on my account and I was trying to cash it in and then they deactivated it. So they will let you cash out sometimes but I cashed out two weeks almost 2 weeks in a row and I guess that was too much for them to have to pay out for referrals. Like I said it started out good and then they deactivated my account.

This app is great love Iota always have great saving and great deals and withdrawals are super easy!

Great. I got a refund of $80 from ibotta. I just found out about this app from a friend. I will share it with everyone. It's great that you can both buy goods and get a bonus

This is a scam, I had the account because I thought it worth it but it definitely doesn't and there is NO costumer service, I couldn't redeem my rewards and they keep charging for non sense maintenance fee even after I email that I wanna deactivate my account which I couldn't, you can't remove you credit card from the app. Horrible experience specially that there is no one to answer you! There is no contact number

This is one of the best Apps ever. If you haven't tried them you need to. I've been a participant for about 4 years now and love it.
