The company's reputation is mixed, with notable strengths in product quality and delivery efficiency, as many customers express satisfaction with their purchases and the overall aesthetic appeal of items. However, significant concerns arise regarding customer service, particularly in handling issues related to delivery options, billing disputes, and product defects. Customers frequently report difficulties in reaching support and receiving timely resolutions, leading to frustration. While some patrons appreciate the extensive product selection and smooth purchasing experience, the inconsistency in service responsiveness and problem resolution highlights areas for improvement in their customer service approach.

Ordered an item sent wrong one. Sent it back after weeks of emails to Houzz. Now weeks later no refund. First picture was from their purchase page. Second is what I received.
Ordered a product... delayed and delayed. Then they cancelled. They apologized after many calls and gave me a coupon to use for next product. I used the coupon to order another product, but again, delayed and delayed, and then they cancelled again. They might be cheaper than other places but they have no ability to track or deliver the product on time. Just a website to get you to wait forever to see your product, if ever. Just wasting time. The complaint is beyond the order # listed below... it's continuous frustration across multiple orders!
I was looking for an assignment writing service, I would like to thanks for Professional skill and high-quality work on time delivery. The work quality is really great at affordable prices. Thank You MyAssignmentHelp.
I order a mailbox with custom home address laser cut on the front of the mailbox. It is a contemporary style mailbox with stainless steel accents. The quality of the mailbox is exceptional. I could not have asked for better customer service. They kept me informed of every step of the process. They emailed me today that they would delivery my order today. I then opened the door and it was on my porch. I would recommend Houzz to everyone. A plus product and A plus service.
They made me put one star - if I had my druthers I'd give them NONE. I placed 2 orders in early May. Finally the end of August, the nightmare is over. My furniture, which I was told would be delivered later in May never came until late in July. But that's only part of the problem. It was next to impossible to reach anyone EVER. Due to Covid, they stopped taking phone calls which I understand. But they also did not answer emails. Awful service. Then as I was enjoying my furniture I got 2 pieces of news. First they were refunding my payment on one of the orders because, as they said, I never received it. What? Then, that they were sending me the other order again - they said I'd never received it. Now what was I to do with a second identical piece of furniture? Finally, after a day's worth of phone calls, I got in touch with a supervisor who was able to rectify the situation. I am so done with Houzz and if you're wise, you will quickly decide never to deal with them.
THIS PLACE Is a scam they are scamming hard working people out of their money please don't order from Houzz, try Mayfair even amazon, I placed a order July 11 2020, i was very excited had just brought a house a year before, for 4 dinning room chairs cost me $500, I was sent 2 dinning room chairs, and was told to wait on shipping dates which I did by the time I called Houzz back customer service wasn't taking calls, after calling for weeks I finally got a rep and was told they are a 3 party online website, not a furniture store so he had a call another place too investigate, well that was weeks ago I was told he was working on my issue which I have proof from email and fed ex but I never heard back from them to refund my money or send me 2 chairs, I did file a complaint with better business bureauso frustrated, experience was awful not to mention I spent $1500 with this companybut what do I suppose to do with 2 chairs when I paid for 4, please stop scamming people.
I placed an Internet order and the next day tried to cancel it.
They do not answer their phone.
There do not have an email address.
Online chat, if you can find it, rudely cut me off after saying essentially nothing.
I would definitely stay away from houzz.com.
They are not customer friendly.
I still have not solved my problem.
Could not sign in to my account after I ordered 2 large, expensive items. Requested forgot password 3 times throughout the day, reached out through Contact Us without any response. There has not been any other way to track my orders, they shipped later than promised if at all. Still trying to find out
Experian sent me a alert that my email was compramised on the dark web and my password was revealed and now i dont feel safe
Below are the images of what was advertised on the Houzz site and what we received. When I contacted Houzz that there must be some error, the response was a simple, "This is the price for only one piece." One piece of what. The site said 1 square foot with 12 daisies. We got a strip with three daisies. So what "one" are your referencing?
We ordered the 12 daisies for $43.82, a square foot, but only send three daisies for the same amount?
Really?
How do I return it so I can order elsewhere?

I bought furniture from Houzz, now it is not delivering until the 23rd which is too late. The order was not processed for days. I emailed them, emailed the seller, called the seller and nobody would help me. 72 hour response time is the quote. Then when I chatted with Houzz and I was being respectful the chat person told me they have 72 hours to respond and ended the chat without closing out with me. Buyer beware do not purchase from Houzz. Terrible terrible customer service.
Houzz got hacked
I joined Houzz this past June and recently I received a message from a scammer stating he received my pass codes from the hack. I do not trust houzz. If you do business its at extreme risk! I spoke with my representative about this and said I don't trust them giving my information out as a service provider and asked to remove my subscription. She will not and became very distant and curt with me. I guess I will have to eat my mistake and loss I've encured by trusting Houzz. Don't make the same mistake!
I can't for the life of me understand how an ONLINE ONLY shop does not have free returns. Just bought two benches (which were a completely different color than what was pictured) and had to spend over a $100 to return them. I will NEVER order from this website again. Much easier & practical to use Wayfair or Overstock or even Amazon for same products.
APlus Kitchen and Bath in Anaheim California. We had Alex start off with the design and Patrica help my wife pick out the hardware. They did a great job, all of our family and friends can't believe how it turned out. I would highly recommend APlus if you are doing a Kitchen and want the best
I ordered a table and within 48 hours I cancelled my order due to poor measurements. I reached out via email to cancel and they replied saying it maybe be too late to cancel delivery. I reached out to CEVA myself and managed to cancel my delivery for the Houzz team. Ever since then, two and half weeks later along with six follow-up emails requesting my refund (over $700.00) and no one is responding. For a reputable company, this is disappointing and I will never order from them again and will share my experience with my family and my friends and let them know.
I purchased a bed over a month ago. ETA of arrival would be July 10-17th. I'm still waiting. I try to call chat and no one ever answer. There's never anyone available. This is ridiculous. I emailed also and all I get s " How would you rate your experience working with Houzz? What experience I never got a reply from anyone. This is beyond ridiculous. I just want to cancel this now.!
I order from Houzz on July 7th, 2020 with a delivery date range of July 11th to July 20th, 2020. By July 17th, 2020 I still had not received my product, nor a shipping date. I went to Houzz website and cancelled my order. I found and order the product I needed from another website, was cheaper as well, on July 17th, 2020 and received it on July 20th, 2020. On July 21st, 2020 Houzz emailed my saying they shipped my order, even after I cancelled it. I went to their website again and cancelled my order as well as calling them to cancel my order, both of which did not receive a reply. On July 22nd, 2020 I received the order I cancelled and now have to return to Houzz, I'm sure since they did not respond to the cancelation they will probably not respond to a return and I will have to have my credit card reverse the charge. Stay away from Houzz, DO NOT order anything from this company, AVOID it like coronavirus.
I ordered and paid for a product. 2 weeks later I get an email saying the order has been cancelled as they are out of stock. Who does this. Why take my money and order if you have none in stock.
Hi Todd,
We're sorry that your order was canceled. We have addressed this with the vendor to ensure they keep their inventory up to date. We would love to help assist with alternative products and will have a member of our team reach out shortly.
Sincerely,
The Houzz Team
Holly crap. 32.97 order. And 53.57 shipping. For 3 small mounting brackets. Buyer be ware.!
We appreciate your feedback as it will help us continue to improve our processes every day.
My order from 7/6 was shipped in separate boxes and shipments. The second box has not arrived. Daily emails from GOPLUS state "FedEx shipment will arrive today" please wait. GOPLUS Corp shipped the second box from Canada to12 different FedEx stops from CA and across the US. Why? Unfortunately still waiting. When the seller offers free shipping they should indicate the number of shipments and estimated delivery for using free shipping!
Answer: Good question Maggie. I don't think there is. I think this site is just there to help their vendor and not assist consumers in making informed decisions. I found had a contractor who had defrauded us and changed his business name on Houzz. I posted a review on his profile notifying the public of what he had done to us, and Houzz did not publish the review. I joined Sitejabber to warn the public about Houzz.
Answer: I began as a Pro on Houzz and spent $2000 on Advertising. This was supposedly for a year of top exposure. No one purchased, the couple of calls I received were people wanting to USE my service for ideas. I have since discontinued complimentary initial appointments. These people are the biggest scammers in the world! I'm still one of the Pros just to see if anything bites but I noticed they go into vendors photos and try to find similar product then they sell their products. Great way to sway your client and to steal customers!
Answer: Go straight to the top at Houzz. Ms. Adi Tatarko, CEO, Alon Cohen, Pres. If tha doesn't work, I suggest you file complaint with the Consumer Affairs Division of the California Attorney General's Office.
Answer: The Pros, at least at the beginning, were not in competition with this company (Houzz). They convinced the "Designer" world that the were strictly collecting ideas for the public and to help improve the vendors chances of being hired. Those reviews on the Pros are about the Pros, they come from their clients. About 2-3 years ago, Houzz began selling out from under all the vendors! They are SO low they have gone into the photos of the pros, look for a product they have that might be similar to something they sell and lead them away from the pro. The 1-2 stars you see here are the reviews for "Houzz" and their service but the reviews under a Pro are for that Pro. Don't be fooled... If you want the job done right, call the Pro! Listen to these reviews of Houzz and you won't get burned. Two different animals completely!
Answer: Steer clear. The advertising doesn't work, and although they originally started up as a company that would work alongside the vendors, they are now selling out from under most of them, especially the interiors decorators! They are SO low they have actually tagged products inside some of the photos of interior designers and tabbed out similar products to stay the customer away from the Pro and to purchase through them directly!
Answer: Do yourself a huge favor and find it somewhere else. Houzz contracts with third party sellers and their freight companies, they're just a middle man. What a nightmare this has been.
