I just experienced a helpful, and patient customer service person, Francis. He helped me through every step of the process. I highly recommend, Houzz for unique items, and excellent customer service!
I had placed an order for bathroom tile, got a bogus UPS tracking number and unable to contact a person. Left a message on their CS site, said it would take 4-4 days to be contacted. It's been 8 days. I now have been on hold for 2 hours.
The tile was promised for delivery by July 4th. It is July 13th, no tile, no response, no answer! And they charged my card immediately
I ordered two identical light fixtures for my hallway. Product shipped as scheduled, one arrived fine, the second one was damaged prior to shipping since there was no damage to the shipping box. I filed a return request for a replacement in APRIL, It is now JULY and even after two follow-up emails, I have no response from Houzz at all - my refund request still says I should have a response by May 11. Tried calling and they are not taking customer service phone calls. I want to make everyone aware that they cannot handle their business right now. Try another company for your needs.
As a follow-up, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Houzz did have the vendor ship me another shade that arrived successfully. My stance on timeliness for resolution still stands, but am happier now that I finally have a light that doesn't look like it was trashed.
Two months wait time and longer. I ordered a wooden porch swing on June 3,2020 and got this email on July 7th: Old estimated delivery date: July 6 - July 15; New estimated delivery date: August 7 - August 10. Had I know that there would be over a 2 month shipping delay I would NOT have ordered this product. This is a summer porch swing that I needed in June, not August.
I first made contact with Dreamstyle because of FB add. Made an appointment and had the work and cost discussed. My wife has Multiple Sclerosis and has difficulty bathing with a bath tub. We came to an agreement on the work to be done and chose what we needed and price from their many options. Joseph Thomas and Will Holt did the work in less than eight hours, were curious, informative, and willing to let me observe the progress. The work was excellent, done professionally and as promised. My wife and I love our new shower and life for her now is much easier.

Price: $10.39. This is half of the total of 26 that I needed. The other company MyKnobs.com had only 13 in stock so I snapped them up at a sale price half of the $10.39 on houzz. I placed my order weeks ago on houzz. My CC was charged on June 10 and then refunded the next day on June 11 with absolutely no communication from houzz. Even after I sent a request for information I received no response. The 'my order' page kept showing order pending. Well now I see houzz is just a *middle man* per se. So as of July 2and I have no pull handles to finish my project. Thanks houzz.

I'm so disappointed with Houzz. Being a new Customer, I ordered an item over a month ago and received it damaged from delivery. I tried to contact Houzz to return it and exchange a new one, unfortunately, It's been over a month, and nobody hasn't got back to me. I sent them 3 emails, and nobody never replied. I called Houzz ( *******268), and all I got is the company recording to advised me to send an email for the best results for service (which I did three times). This company is the worst and unprofessional, I've never been treated like this just to return a package.
Ordered a Murphy Bed on 9/12/19; said it would be here on 9/1919 between 12 & 6pm. Today is the 20th and no show or word from them? Have company coming as of 9/24/19. Yes of course they have there money. Tracking # HOZ*******

When my wife Gail and I decided to replace all the carpeting in our house with new "hardwood" flooring we had little clue what we were doing. We had some friends and family that gave us suggestions of course, but we had to do our own research and climb our own learning curve. We had representatives from several companies look at our project. The only one we looked forward to seeing again was Mark McMurray. We realized that Mark was smart, knowledgeable, insightful, patient and trustworthy. Easy going and straight forward, he wasn't merely better than the others we met, he was different. Mark was a collaborator on the project rather than a saleman. Before the flooring could be installed, he took care of some tiles that needed to be replaced. His flooring installation crew clearly knew what they were doing. Efficient, and exacting, they were done in less than half the time we expected and the results are spectacular. We are more than happy with our experience with Floor Coverings International. Mark and Jenny make a great team. We can't say enough about them. You won't be disappointed with their services!
I've had my first and last experience buying anything from HOUZZ. I purchased a tray and subsequently returned it because it wasn't the quality I expected. It has been almost a month since I returned the tray, and I've yet to receive a credit. POOR buying experience.
I reached out to HOUZZ and haven't received a response. Sorely disappointed. This experience falls under the category of "never again."

I ordered 2 chairs in April. My account was charged in May. Now it is the end of June and I have not received the chairs. The customer service phone number says they are not taking calls and to email. I sent an email 3 times (with my order number) and still no response.

I ordered an item and was very excited about it, it was just what I had been looking for. After ordering it confirmed my order went through and I was given my order/confirmation number with a delivery date of June 18th thru June 22nd. The screen then said I would receive an email when my ordered shipped. Well, June 22nd has come and gone. I've kept checking my order status and it continues to show ready to ship. It has never left a warehouse! I've clicked on the contact us option three times and asked for information/update on shipping since this was to be a fathers day gift and i ordered it 3 weeks in advance and it was in stock and to this day i still have not even been given the courtesy of a response email back. This is poor business, poor customer service, and since this is my first dealing with Houzz I'm about to think Scam site. I am contacting my credit card company and customer service.
I ordered chairs and one chair came with a leg much shorter than the others, but this wasn't the worst part of it. My interest free period expired right in the middle of covid related crisis. I called houzz customer service to ask for an extension or even just a refund for interest charges because I wanted to pay in full. They refused to remove the interest and had absolutey no compassion in my situation during this time. Inhumane company and low quality products.

Not use sellers that are all honest and will not stand behind you when things go wrong. Simple Sinks took our payment n April, said nothing about shipping 2 bathroom sinks ($1981. 00) for 3 weeks. We contacted Houzz. Houzz said we could cancel the order. The seller called from China and said they did not have products. We noticed Simle Sinks had changed names, cancelled the order and disputed the charge with our bank. Both the seller and Houzz tried to deliver something to us 4 days later which we refused. We were charged $361.00 in shipping charges. In June, just when my bank sent notice of credit, Houzz sent us an email about how to return the two sinks we cancelled back in April and had not accepted delivery. No way will we recommend or purchase with Houzz again. Never had an issue before, but never use Houzz again.

Pyramid Granite was an extremely professional company from start to finish. Pyramid is stone fabricator company. I was able to visit the warehouse and determined how I would like my slab cut for my kitchen counters. I asked if they could come on a specific day and time. They were extremely accommodating. Calling to say they were on there as requested a crew arrived and worked quickly. The job site was kept protected and clean. They took old sink and granite with them. The bonus is that you have an option to include a plumber to unhook sink and disposal and rebook when counter installation are completed. An A + job
Well, to start, they tell a great story on how they can help build your business, come up with a price based on territory and services you offer... pay them to help promote but have any kind of trouble logging into the account they create for you... well then you still pay them upwards of $400 a month to do nothing! No access to your "portal", write endless emails to so called "support" to get your email right so you can at least log in to your account your paying for month after month but get zero return, zero ways to log in and an absolute "rude and condescending personal account rep, she tells you its your fault, they have an email they doesn't even come close a not only your email but and address that couldn't be sent anywhere it was so messed up.
Then when I say i am completely unsatisfied and just want to cancel, Haley Hinman, my account rep (total $#*! at this point) begins to tell me she has 400+ clients that love her and this is all my fault and have a one year agreement with their company (the same company that has now received over $750 in payments (2) and still has no way for me to even log into my account and add photos, reviews, basic company info etc. etc.
Run as fast away as you can from these crooks!
I ordered a mirror from their website recently (June 2020). I had questions about the order as it was custom, and their ship time was misleading i. E. on the website it indicates there's potential to receive the product by 8/3, but after I placed the order it says the SHIP DATE is 8/3.
They have no phone number, no email. What company doesn't have at least one of these to contact for questions? I honestly don't know if this is even a legit company anymore. I've been emailing them to cancel my order and STILL haven't received a response. No response when I was asking questions, no response off the emails to cancel. I don't even know where my order is! Even the manufacturer was apologetic and had no idea why Houzz wasn't responding!

Answer: Good question Maggie. I don't think there is. I think this site is just there to help their vendor and not assist consumers in making informed decisions. I found had a contractor who had defrauded us and changed his business name on Houzz. I posted a review on his profile notifying the public of what he had done to us, and Houzz did not publish the review. I joined Sitejabber to warn the public about Houzz.
Answer: I began as a Pro on Houzz and spent $2000 on Advertising. This was supposedly for a year of top exposure. No one purchased, the couple of calls I received were people wanting to USE my service for ideas. I have since discontinued complimentary initial appointments. These people are the biggest scammers in the world! I'm still one of the Pros just to see if anything bites but I noticed they go into vendors photos and try to find similar product then they sell their products. Great way to sway your client and to steal customers!

Answer: The Pros, at least at the beginning, were not in competition with this company (Houzz). They convinced the "Designer" world that the were strictly collecting ideas for the public and to help improve the vendors chances of being hired. Those reviews on the Pros are about the Pros, they come from their clients. About 2-3 years ago, Houzz began selling out from under all the vendors! They are SO low they have gone into the photos of the pros, look for a product they have that might be similar to something they sell and lead them away from the pro. The 1-2 stars you see here are the reviews for "Houzz" and their service but the reviews under a Pro are for that Pro. Don't be fooled... If you want the job done right, call the Pro! Listen to these reviews of Houzz and you won't get burned. Two different animals completely!

The advertising doesn't work, and although they originally started up as a company that would work alongside the vendors, they are now selling out from under most of them, especially the interiors decorators! They are SO low they have actually tagged products inside some of the photos of interior designers and tabbed out similar products to stay the customer away from the Pro and to purchase through them directly!
Answer: Do yourself a huge favor and find it somewhere else. Houzz contracts with third party sellers and their freight companies, they're just a middle man. What a nightmare this has been.
