Would give a zero if I could. Received a console/credenza through them. They failed to respond to 2 online requests for help when it was over a week late. When it finally arrived on June 10, the console was severely damaged- obviously had been dropped. I filed an online request for help with return/refund and received an automated email that I would hear from someone in 4-5 days, and 10 days later I still have not heard from them. Tried calling two times. After 18 mins the first time and 33 mins the second time, the call just went dead after it rang through to what I thought would be a human representative. I've reversed charges on my credit card. Will never order through them again.
I ordered a pair of chairs Apr. 3. They were delivered Apr. 10. I saw one of the chairs was defective, and immediately emailed Houzz and let them know.
I have now twice sent the pictures requested, and written at least 3 follows up emails. It has been 12 days since the chairs were delivered, and I have gotten no satisfaction from this company.

Do not purchase from this vendor. If something goes wrong with your purchase, you will never see your money again. My product arrived damaged. I paid $30 to send it back. I waited 3 weeks after confirmation of delivery for my refund, called and emailed multiple times, and it never came. I finally filed a dispute through my credit card vendor.
I made an online order May 21,2020 and my card was charged soon afterwards however, there is currently no status on delivery. When I check my order status, it has always said "Status: In Production" and was supposed to have been delivered between May 28-June 7. I have sent 2 emails through their online system inquiring on delivery status and have yet to receive a response. I tried calling only to be waiting for 2.5 hrs to speak to someone in customer service. This is ridiculous and no word on my order! I have always had good service with Houzz but this is absurd!
We placed an order 5 weeks ago - with a delivery date of 5-28 to 6-1-20. Never received items - however they quickly took our $1000! Attempted to call, email, could never get through to a live person, emails went unanswered. Finally made a BBB complaint/report and THEN get an email from Houzz stating they fulfilled our request for a refund! NO! NO! NO! That was never a request we had - we simply wanted some customer service! Guess that's how they handle complaints through the BBB. Stay away from this company - lots of other places to purchase from. This one is the worst!
Houzz has terrible customer service. Never order anything from them. My order has been sitting since May with no activity. And they do not respond to my emails. Houzz is horse $#*!.
Ordered item (5/12/20)for birthday gift should have been delivered may 15 -20th with EXPRESS SHIPPING! As of June 13th still no delivery. Multiple attempts at follow-up with no response. I see no reason to do business with these folks as they do not keep their commitment nor do they respond to inquiries. TOTALLY DISSATISFIED, will demand refund.
Beware! They will not pay for shipping on returns. I bought a $60 red rug, described as vibrant cherry red. It was definitely orange. They wanted to charge me $20 to return it! Even though they admitted the description was incorrect. They said it's not their product, they are just distributors.
Bought a craft table for close to $300, made in Denmark, purportedly of wood. There was nothing wood in the product except pressed manufactured pieces, the instructions were almost incomprehensible to my carpenter husband, and once put together (took close to 3 hours) it is an all around disappointment. I will not but any other products from Houzz.

When I placed the order for my new table back in May, the delivery date was between May 31 and June 3. On June 3, I contacted Houzz because my table had not yet shipped. In a rude e-mail response I was told that UPS had my table. UPS did not have my table. On June 3 Houzz created the UPS Label. On June 5 the label still said created but UPS did not have my desk. I wrote back in another rude e-mail response was told that UPS did have my desk. UPS did not and I believe UPS. Due to their rude correspondence and slow shipping methods I will never order from them again. I wish I had read all of their negative reviews before I purchased this table.

I looked through a number of sites in order to find the right size and style, as well as a positive customer reviewalways a must for me. I finally found a product that seemed to have all the features I wanted, though since I needed two bookcases, the cost was more than I had anticipated. I hope my choice lives up to my expectations after I receive them.

I have put together purchased before. Overall it was semi difficult (I'm a 76 yr old woman). Initially I was disappointed with shade color but in the end it's fine. It took me 1 1/2 hrs due to my error. Very worth the price and end look.
I want a white shade for lamp but there is nowhere to indicate color (there are three choices).
An old wooden window box was rotting, and I didn't need anything fancy for the location. I found this one from Varidek on Houzz and was very pleased with the quick delivery as well as the product. Good quality, easy to install. And the price could not be beat!

Houzz has a lovely site with lots of good information but it is a poor place to purchase goods. I ordered a rug, an incorrect rug was sent. I requested a return on the site and i received an e-mail stating I would be sent next steps in 5 days. I did not and I called 2 times. Each time I had to wait 90 minutes to speak to someone and each time i was told it would be picked up by a carrier. To date, it has not been and it's exhausting to wait another 90 minutes. DO NOT PURCHASE ON THIS SITE. Put the item description in the search bar and you will get a list of other companies to buy the same item. They do not respond to e-mails either.
I ordered a lamp for a client. I cracked the shade. After just one email, the representative was able to secured me a new one within days. That is what I call great service.
My house was one of the most embarrassing houses in our neighborhood. I called around, and Tom, and Alex called me back in minutes! They came down to see our house that day! They gave me an honest quote, offered to do, EXTRA work on the stucco, too! They are honest, reliable, and have been doing this for 40 years plus! With magical hands, my house is gorgeous! I no longer am embarrassed by our house! I can't say ENOUGH great things about this company! Try them, you won't be disappointed!
I placed an order with Houzz on May 6th and not only have I not received my merchandise, but cannot reach a live person in the customer service department. I have sent two emails through the support system and to date, no one has repsonded from Houzz. When I call the line is disconnected automatically once they tell you to fill our the online support form. My experience has been aweful especially since Houzz does not care to follow up with a customer. Poor customer service, which is very important in my opinion, is a reflection of this company. I would add a picture as requrested below, however, I still don't have the merchandise to even take a picture!
Answer: Good question Maggie. I don't think there is. I think this site is just there to help their vendor and not assist consumers in making informed decisions. I found had a contractor who had defrauded us and changed his business name on Houzz. I posted a review on his profile notifying the public of what he had done to us, and Houzz did not publish the review. I joined Sitejabber to warn the public about Houzz.
Answer: I began as a Pro on Houzz and spent $2000 on Advertising. This was supposedly for a year of top exposure. No one purchased, the couple of calls I received were people wanting to USE my service for ideas. I have since discontinued complimentary initial appointments. These people are the biggest scammers in the world! I'm still one of the Pros just to see if anything bites but I noticed they go into vendors photos and try to find similar product then they sell their products. Great way to sway your client and to steal customers!

Answer: The Pros, at least at the beginning, were not in competition with this company (Houzz). They convinced the "Designer" world that the were strictly collecting ideas for the public and to help improve the vendors chances of being hired. Those reviews on the Pros are about the Pros, they come from their clients. About 2-3 years ago, Houzz began selling out from under all the vendors! They are SO low they have gone into the photos of the pros, look for a product they have that might be similar to something they sell and lead them away from the pro. The 1-2 stars you see here are the reviews for "Houzz" and their service but the reviews under a Pro are for that Pro. Don't be fooled... If you want the job done right, call the Pro! Listen to these reviews of Houzz and you won't get burned. Two different animals completely!
Answer: Steer clear. The advertising doesn't work, and although they originally started up as a company that would work alongside the vendors, they are now selling out from under most of them, especially the interiors decorators! They are SO low they have actually tagged products inside some of the photos of interior designers and tabbed out similar products to stay the customer away from the Pro and to purchase through them directly!
Answer: Do yourself a huge favor and find it somewhere else. Houzz contracts with third party sellers and their freight companies, they're just a middle man. What a nightmare this has been.
