NO ACCOUNTABLITY or help for service issues. I chose to use USPS to return an item as it was less than half the price of their FED EX preprinted return. However, Houzz listed an incorrect return address which caused the item to be returned to me, wasting the postage I paid. Houzz wants $25 for what should cost more like $10. Their customer "service" is non-existent, no phone number, the chat is a bot and the "help" line keeps saying the email does not match the order number 1689-7078-4147-3216. In over 48 hours I still have no response to my issue. It looks like my choices are pay $35 to return a small package worth $67 of product I won't use, or eat the whole thing. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

I placed an order they confirmed it, then canceled it and never let me know they canceled it. When I spoke to them and asked why then offered to email me a cancelation notice. I could not even get them to understand how dumb that was.

My sister bought me a sheet from Houzz in November. It was a Christmas gift and she wanted to have time to wrap and mail it. I opened it on Christmas, put it in the wash on gentle cycle the next week. It became frayed with a single wash and was a $400 Legna SDH sheet. I contacted my sister who contacted the company. We were informed that nothing could be done as it was more than a month since purchase. Really? During Covid and the trouble with the post office. Very disappointing. The sheets are beautiful, but this one is flawed!

Houzz has proved its worth in more ways then I thought possible. Together with their support they have enabled us to reach more clients and secure more work than I could have without them. A very valuable resource for us. Excellent web presence and design. I would highly recommend working with Houzz.
Don't buy from these guys. I ordered a heater from them, and it never arrived. However, they refused to give a refund.
Update- I subsequently was contacted by someone from Houzz, who was very helpful, and wound up getting a full refund.

Ordered a medicine cabinet for a gut and remodel of a bathroom. Arrived on time and in good shape. Quickly realized it was going to be to big for our build. Got an authorization to return the medicine cabinet from house. Repacked it and shipped it back to the manufacturer as directed by Houzz. It arrived at the manufacturer in good shape. It has been almost a month and I have not received a refund. I have made 2 inquiries through the Houzz website about the refund and have not received a reply. Do not do business with Houzz if you expect a refund for something that you return.

Houzz is the biggest regret I have on my mind every single day I wake up, I've asked many times to cancel my signature with. But I've got into a 12 month agreement, I've been paying for this and I haven't make any penny from houzz leads. I will never recommend houzz to anybody I know, contractor or costumers. I feel like I've been raped every single month. If there is any possibility to cancel all my agreement with this company I'd like to know.
We are remodeling a home and I purchased many items from houzz in the past year. Everything was great until one vanity top arrived badly damaged. I've made 3 attempts to get some help through their customer service to no avail! The old "high volume but we'll get back to you" line means no return call or email! Very frustrating... beware!

Next time, please ensure that the customer is aware that the delivery carrier (3rd party) will be calling to set up an appointment of delivery. Because i already set up mobile updates from Houzz. At least let the customer know before hand that "hey, your purchased item is now with this carrier. They will be calling you to set up delivery appointment. I personally do not pick up unknown calls. My item would have been sent back had I not called to check on my purchased item that was "supposed to have been delivered on a specific day (18th). Since I decided to call customer support I discovered a 3rd party and their intentions to reach me. Now I have to wait another week. Our communication should not have stopped at just "it's being shipped ". Text me (as I set up text messaging) that I will be getting a call from this carrier or text me a link to now track my item with that carrier. You did this AFTER my customer service support call. I cannot wait for my item to arrive. Thanks.
I signed up for this and was promised the world and all they did was set me up and never get in contact again. They never answer their emails and my so called handler has not been in contact since july, unlike the monthly catch ups etc promised. I am seeking legal advice for breach of contract and your better off keeping your money..

I ordered an expensive piece of furniture from Houzz about 2 months ago, I received the first one damaged so I asked for a replacement, the second one came also damaged and my return and refund request has just been rejected, I have sent pictures of the table to show the damage but this seems to be insufficient. I am now the proud owner of a damaged table for which I have paid over USD4k. I do not recommend this website at all, this has been a nightmare. The price was right, but I would have rather paid a few hundred more for a table that doesn't have any damage. Waste of money and time.
UPDATE - after a back and forth with the customer service, I was provided a refund at the end, partly on store credit and partly on $ credited to my credit card.

I purchased a coffee table and they sent a dresser. They refuse to replace it or give a refund. I've called customer service 5 times to no avail.

One of the worst experiences I have encountered. First they sent me the wrong items, then they charged me to send them back with their own shipping label. Once I sent the item back, they did not refund me saying it has been over 30days even though I sent the item the same day I got the shipping label from them. They pretty much scammed me over $500 and still got to keep their merchandise. I am never ordering from this seller again. Everyone stay away!

As an Interior designer I was looking to expand my business, so I joined Houzz Pro. I was a bit nervous about renewing my subscription with Houzz.com due to my previous Client Onboarding Specialist. (She sucked! Lazy, rude and completely unmotivated!)
However, luckily for me I was paired with Jade Deberry this time around! And she has been absolutely awesome!
Extremely personable, knowledgeable, and absolutely wants to see me succeed! She is very dependable and her follow through is immaculate! She gives me very specific things to do to increase my present on Houzz. Unfortunately, I recently found out she's only assigned me for 90 days. However, I'm hoping that somehow that will change. And she will be able to work with me directly through the duration of my time with Houzz. Thank you Houzz for hiring JADE DEBERRY who is very passionate about her job and provide outstanding customer service and support to her clients!
I would recommend Renewal by Anderson to anyone. They replaced the windows much sooner than expected & more quickly than I thought.
We have ordered a piece of TV stand which was very poor in quality and assembly instructions were terrible and we have called the customer service several times for the returns for last 4 months with no luck this company is scam with returns most

We moved into our beautiful new home last Nov. Barbara listened to all our ideas and needs and based on on that gave us an overall theme for the whole house. She divided up our living spaces into the Master, kitchen and family area, formal living and dining room and the Office /study.
She helped us source furniture and fittings based on these themes whilst conforming to our budgets. We were therefore able to make the necessary renovations easily. An entire bathroom and the office/study had to be completely designed and she worked with us on both these spaces. The selection of colors started with the walls, the flooring the carpeting and then the finishes.
We selected the furniture, the color palette, and the individual pieces for our master bedroom together. We discussed color, fabrics and design and once the decisions were made Barbara helped us to order the furniture and supervised its delivery as well.
The family room pieces are still coming together but she helped us with the layout, the colors and the ambience we wanted to create for ourselves.
The Office needed a floor plan and had to be designed with our individual needs in mind and Barbara was able to fuse all this together and design a gorgeous office which she then helped us to order and is now in the process of supervising the delivery and assembly.
We also used her expertise in placing our ornaments and decorative pieces and that proved very aesthetically pleasing.

We have much more work left to be done but the areas that are complete are a delight and we are very grateful for Barbara's work.
Answer: Good question Maggie. I don't think there is. I think this site is just there to help their vendor and not assist consumers in making informed decisions. I found had a contractor who had defrauded us and changed his business name on Houzz. I posted a review on his profile notifying the public of what he had done to us, and Houzz did not publish the review. I joined Sitejabber to warn the public about Houzz.
Answer: I began as a Pro on Houzz and spent $2000 on Advertising. This was supposedly for a year of top exposure. No one purchased, the couple of calls I received were people wanting to USE my service for ideas. I have since discontinued complimentary initial appointments. These people are the biggest scammers in the world! I'm still one of the Pros just to see if anything bites but I noticed they go into vendors photos and try to find similar product then they sell their products. Great way to sway your client and to steal customers!

Answer: The Pros, at least at the beginning, were not in competition with this company (Houzz). They convinced the "Designer" world that the were strictly collecting ideas for the public and to help improve the vendors chances of being hired. Those reviews on the Pros are about the Pros, they come from their clients. About 2-3 years ago, Houzz began selling out from under all the vendors! They are SO low they have gone into the photos of the pros, look for a product they have that might be similar to something they sell and lead them away from the pro. The 1-2 stars you see here are the reviews for "Houzz" and their service but the reviews under a Pro are for that Pro. Don't be fooled... If you want the job done right, call the Pro! Listen to these reviews of Houzz and you won't get burned. Two different animals completely!

The advertising doesn't work, and although they originally started up as a company that would work alongside the vendors, they are now selling out from under most of them, especially the interiors decorators! They are SO low they have actually tagged products inside some of the photos of interior designers and tabbed out similar products to stay the customer away from the Pro and to purchase through them directly!
Answer: Do yourself a huge favor and find it somewhere else. Houzz contracts with third party sellers and their freight companies, they're just a middle man. What a nightmare this has been.
