This website is a great to manage your business and get new clients through it. It has many tools to accommodate your startup as well as its own 3D rendering software. Which saves lots of money and makes the workflow more efficient. All in all this website is amazing and the people you work with are all great.
The newer Houzz Pro is a great addition to the more established Houzz platform. Having the ability to organize and track leads within the program is convenient, allowing for less leads to slip by. It's user-friendly. The concierge service curates the leads resulting in better matches/fit between client and professional.

Working virtually with ‘UnComplicated Design' was the best decision I have ever made for designing my living room and finding my style. With help from Andrea I was able to get a ‘Mood Board' that my husband and I love for a great price. Thank you. It's a big deal because my taste in design is so different from his. Andrea was able to bring it together for us.
You won't get honest and accurate information from this site because in the discussions bullies run rampant. In window discussions, for example, people who are obviously in the industry put themselves forth as "experts." If you have a problem with a product and post about it, they will make it all about you and not the product. They will call you names (Karen, etc.), belittle your experience (it had to be YOU not doing YOUR homework, not any problem with the actual product), and relentlessly make fun of you and your experience. They could always just post their opinion without any of that, but they don't. Very obvious attempt to scare off anyone from saying anything about the stuff they install and/or sell, thus controlling the narrative to the point of total inaccuracy. Steer clear. The administrators do not step in -- the flagging system seems to do nothing. Until they stop the bullying and require that people post about their OWN experience rather than invalidating the experiences of OTHERS, the site will remain useless for helping consumers with their renovating / building concerns and dilemmas. Too bad. It used to be a great site before the mean kids took over.

Peter Warren within the industry solutions department has been so great to work with. We are a Houzz Pro account holder and Peter has managed our account for a couple years now. He always keeps us updated on the latest features and sales options. He works with our budget and is quick to reply to any emails of questions or concerns, whether they're covered in his department or not.
Bought a lolloi Hathaway java/multi rug from Houzz on sale 77 use or 129 cdn.
Took almost one month to arrive, tracking information was misleading and showed messages like delivered when it wasn't or delivered to fontana California when I live in Canada, my attempts to contact customer service to extract tracking information was like pulling teeth, had to threaten them with going to my credit card company to launch a claim and get a refund in order to have them investigate
I finally received the rug today but originally placed my order February 13th
The rug is a dull brown and grey and not the grey and apricot colour they display on their website, the product is not what is shown on their website
Very disappointed in the dull brown colour
And of course, it is not returnable, I will never purchase from houzz.con again
Save your money and go elsewhere and receive better service and accurate product information

I purchased a hammock stand on 7/3/2020 and it rusted out in 3 months. I called they took 2 months to reply, so when i called them back they said the manufacturer bliss hammocks does not warranty against rust. I complained on twitter so they blocked me, when they called me their customer service dept called me a $#*!head and asked me if an alligator bit the hammock stand. When i asked to escalate he put his wife on the phone since i know they are not working in an office. A manager called me back and when i told him he said that he will find out who called me. He called back and said they could not find it in the logs but they will not stand behind their hammock stand.
It is good to deal with upscale customer and high professionalism in dealing and satisfying the customer in the simplest way because the customer is always right and thank you for your listening
We chose this company because they are local and we talked to their people at the fair. We wanted seamless siding which they have and produce. We called finally and Jason, one of their sales people came out and gave us a quote. We picked the colors and had it done. We did the winter sale had a discount. The crew was great. We are doing an add on to the house and requested the same crew. Cesar was the lead man and we loved their work.
Answer: Good question Maggie. I don't think there is. I think this site is just there to help their vendor and not assist consumers in making informed decisions. I found had a contractor who had defrauded us and changed his business name on Houzz. I posted a review on his profile notifying the public of what he had done to us, and Houzz did not publish the review. I joined Sitejabber to warn the public about Houzz.
Answer: I began as a Pro on Houzz and spent $2000 on Advertising. This was supposedly for a year of top exposure. No one purchased, the couple of calls I received were people wanting to USE my service for ideas. I have since discontinued complimentary initial appointments. These people are the biggest scammers in the world! I'm still one of the Pros just to see if anything bites but I noticed they go into vendors photos and try to find similar product then they sell their products. Great way to sway your client and to steal customers!

Answer: The Pros, at least at the beginning, were not in competition with this company (Houzz). They convinced the "Designer" world that the were strictly collecting ideas for the public and to help improve the vendors chances of being hired. Those reviews on the Pros are about the Pros, they come from their clients. About 2-3 years ago, Houzz began selling out from under all the vendors! They are SO low they have gone into the photos of the pros, look for a product they have that might be similar to something they sell and lead them away from the pro. The 1-2 stars you see here are the reviews for "Houzz" and their service but the reviews under a Pro are for that Pro. Don't be fooled... If you want the job done right, call the Pro! Listen to these reviews of Houzz and you won't get burned. Two different animals completely!

The advertising doesn't work, and although they originally started up as a company that would work alongside the vendors, they are now selling out from under most of them, especially the interiors decorators! They are SO low they have actually tagged products inside some of the photos of interior designers and tabbed out similar products to stay the customer away from the Pro and to purchase through them directly!
Answer: Do yourself a huge favor and find it somewhere else. Houzz contracts with third party sellers and their freight companies, they're just a middle man. What a nightmare this has been.
