Living in California and replacing your own catalytic converters sounds like a legal nightmare. However, they sent me the correct direct replacements. I bolted them in and passed smog the next day. Aside from missing a couple nuts and a gasket, everything went smooth. My stress turned to relief! If you are mechanically inclined to do the work yourself, you'll save thousands.

I needed a California certified CAT for my '88 Porsche Carrera. Although many companies claim to offer them, in truth they all wait for a run by the manufacturer. Hottexhaust explored further and found one for me. Thanks

Never dealt with this website before but was tempted by the 20% off. I ended up buying a full exhaust system cats and cat back exhaust for my 89 mustang. Everything arrived in the original magna flow boxes and was perfect. Received the cats within 2 days of placing the order and the exhaust arrived shortly after. Good products, fast shipping, and great price. Would recommend!

I purchased a catalytic converter for my 86' Honda on 04/11/2026, that according to the website was in stock as it allowed for purchase. After checking the status of the order, it read "awaiting fulfillment". I waited a and the order had not changed. I emailed Hottexhaust on 04/11/2026 inquiring about the purchase and never received communication back. I finally called on 05/04/2026 and was greeted with "Hottexhaust please hold" and waited 30 minutes on hold. I called back three more timed with the same "Hottexhaust please hold". Finally on the fourth call I was able to talk to a person. I don't know his name, but he was the rudest person I have dealt with in some time. I asked about the awaiting fulfillment statues, and he responded with "It means we don't have it and are waiting on it" in the most angry, arrogant voice. I let him know that I knew what the definition means and to issue a refund immediately. That changed his tone, once he confirmed that the refund was processed, I just hung up. Why would a company offer a product that they do not have in stock and to estimated refill time? Why would you have someone who acts like that dealing with customers? I will never order from here again and have steered others from using them as well. Horrible customer service, awesome at taking your money for products that are on back order. Horrible communication. Do better or find another profession.

Just that. I reached out two or tree times via email, but no response. I probably would have had better luck calling, but i wasn't in a hurry. The quality is excellent. I've only visually inspected the item (downpipe/cat) but I'm very happy with the workmanship.

This exhaust gave the car some much needed muscle car sound. The quality is excellent as expected. It's not too loud, but it does get attention and it looks great as well. The service and shipping was top notch.

Had to take the day off the work with last minute notice due to UPS requiring signature and changing the date. I don't like the exhaust but that's not Hottexhaust fault.

Missed buying before the price hike but Black Friday discount helped. Kit arrived really quickly packaged well. Parts were in great shape. Install was tougher than it had to be due to age of truck; the clamp bolt on the extension was rusted so had to cut off the bolt and clamp. The flare end of the extension had also rusted through so had to cut it off (~ 3"). Fit the parts onto truck and the over-axle tube hanger would not seat in hanger isolator so had to cut another 2" off of extension. Used a butt connector strap from Autozone to secure the front end of the kit to the extension. Adjusted and tightened everything up and fired her up to hear a decent rumble and tone which was a bit quieter than expected. Slightly louder than stock at cruising and fairly aggressive sounding at full throttle. Really nice improvement without being obnoxious.

I needed the additional (the one under the driver's seat) catalytic converter to pass smog in California, I ordered the part and had it installed, smog passed. Shipping time to CA was about 10 days, the price was very reasonable. There seem to be a lot of bad reviews for this company when googling I was hesitant but I had a great experience with this transaction.

I received the magnaflow catalytic converter assembly quickly. It seemed of high quality and installed easily. It brought some new life to an old van. I combined it with a straight thru exhaust. It sounds and runs great

Very pleased with the part, so far. Nice that it included the 3 gaskets and nuts, although I had to supply my own 3 bolts from the Dealer. One thing worth mentioning, is that NOBODY including Hottexhaust definitively calls out fitment for the above vehicle with 4WD. The Hottexhaust website also indicated 3 pictures of the pipe and cat, all with the SAME part number, which is confusing. As it turned out, I selected the part which most accurately resembled my existing part. The company needs to revamp their customer care team, as it is very difficult to get assistance in a timely manner. When I left messages, and the AI said that I would be contacted, there was NO follow up. I finally got in touch with Chris Ramirez, I believe, and he was a great help! He is a credit to his organization and worthy of acknowledgment.

Back ordewr of item was surprising and did cause delay in my restoration project. When new item was available it was shipped immediately as far as I can tell. So thanks for that.

Shipped fast, price seemed fair, the quality appeared to be excellent. The box was that it was shipped in was badly beat up and ripped open in a spot. The unit was packed well because it did not sustain any damage. The gasket kit had the wrong donut gasket, so wrong that it was to big for the unit that I purchased as well as the manifold on my truck. So, I ended up using the old one. This worked out ok and the cat solved my problems, no more 420 fault code.

Ordered a replacement Magnaflow catalytic converter for my Toyota MR2 Spyder last December and received it, complete with gaskets. Just completed the installation in early March due to winter weather & cold temperature delays. Quality of product was excellent and It fit well and installation wasn't too difficult.

I needed a CA CARB Catalytic converter, one was on discount SAVING ME HUNDREDS $$$$! It shipped very quickly as well. Passed CO emissions the day after install! 10/10 recommend

It fit with just a few connectors and it also looks like the old (2011) Magnaflow that was removed, and not the one pictured.

I purchased the CA CARB cat for my L320 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged as I had the engine replaced and after replacement I had error codes p0420 and p0430. I purchased the CA CARB cat that is not the mangaflow option. The non mangaflow CA CARB that I bought and had installed has resolved the p0420 and p0430 cat codes. When Land Rover charges $4500 per cat in 2025 this option is definitely worth trying as it resolved the codes for me. My original catalytic converters had 162,000 miles on them. My only concern is the welds on the catalytic converter are pretty ugly but it did not leak and I believe there is a lifetime warranty on craftsmanship. There is some modification required as one of the cats comes in two pieces and the original is one piece.
