Selecting my vehicle and getting the right item was easy. Extremely satisfied with my purchase. Catalytic converter is an exact match for my rear TWC on my 1999 Lexus ES300. Paid $154 for the MagnaFlow versus $1,842 for the OEM one that is discontinued. Cut out the old one and welded in the new one. Perfect fit without having to bend any new exhaust pipe.

The worst service dont return calls or email sent wrong part and lied about the shipping. And now cant get any call or emails to make a return and vehicle I have to drive around illegally because it wont pass smog because of parts being wrong they sent
The good: The exhaust system I ordered showed up today. With one minor delay from Fed Ex, the muffler actually shipped very quickly. Hottexhaust was very good about communication the shipping progress (Fed Ex was not). It somehow got delayed which ended up being an extra 4 day delay over the standard shipping.
The bad: It looks like it was dragged to my front door from the factory. I don't know that I have ever had anything arrive in such poor condition. The oversized box was completely wide open, every section of the box had puncture marks, crushing, and tearing. The muffler itself was fairly well wrapped (thank goodness) but poorly packaged inside of the oversized box so obviously it bounced around quite a bit. I would bet the exhaust came out of the box at at least one point-when I say the box was wide open, I mean it was not sealed at all. All of the staples securing the main flap were out and there was nothing securing the muffler in the box. There was very little external packing to prevent any possible damage. I have just begun to inspect the muffler itself but it is difficult to tell if it is bent. I am not sure if this is all on the shipper, because overall the muffler is packed well but packaged into a box that was way too big and all of the staples securing the box opening were out...
I hate to complain but this was really not a great experience out of the box. My 22 year old daughter walked up and said what did they do, Jack up the Jeep with the box? Yeah, it was that bad...
The Ugly: Lastly, The installation instructions are marked 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL and I know there were fitment issues with the early mufflers. I had hoped by ordering in March of 2020 I would get a newer muffler and not older stock. To be fair I am not sure if they are using docs that say 2018 and the muffler has a newer production date -hopefully this one will slip/connect over the existing pipe. My hope is that the muffler will be damage free and installs correctly. Again this may not be any fault of Hottexhaust, but I will be calling them in the morning to follow up.
I never write poor reviews and this may all work out. However it is not the way I had hoped it would go right out of the box. I will call them and see if this is abnormal or not and proceed accordingly.
