I was traveling to Italy in 2020. I purchased Hoppers travel insurance because things were getting sketchy. The trip was cancelled because Italy closed their borders and the US cancelled international travel. Kept trying to contact Hopper but due to high cancellations they were unable to get back with me but not to worry (per their website). Then I remembered the travel insurance and submitted a claim. Unfortunately for me the entire world being locked down was not covered. I have tried to reach Hopper and they are continually researching the problem and will get back with me. I've been waiting 16 days on this last email interaction with zero response. (They must be exhausted, poor things). They are a scam!
No refund disclosure, they will say AFTER-the-fact that there are no refunds, no complaints resolution process, hours of waiting for customer service, no recourse in case of problems, for a few dollars saved, book with the airline, don't waste your time (and money).

I booked a hotel for NH through this app, called the hotel to make sure my reservation was there! Low and Behold, that hotel does not affiliate itself with this app and my reservation was not in their system. I ended up booking it through the hotel myself for a few dollars less. I emailed The Hopper CS team and received word that the only way to cancel my reservation was to find another hotel before my current reservation expires or I will be out of my money. I was pissed. NEVER USE THIS APP!

I got to the hotel that I got through the hopper app. I paid for it over 2 weeks ago many longer. The hotel canceled my reservation. They did not have rooms avaible. Both hotel and this company have been arguing with me for over 6 hours. I have been up all night it is almost 2am. Hopper DID NOT help me find another hotel for the night or refund the money. They continue to make excuses along with the hotel. They were going to have me sleep in my car. Did nothing at all to help me. I could not find a hotel is San Antonio that was decent priced so I had to drive all the way up to Austin. Again looking on my own not using their app any more. They are still arguing with me and not offering to even help me find a hotel. I still had one more night but looks like it isn't going to happen due to lack of funds thanks to this company. Never use this company. They aren't even from America so they could careless. We're willing to have my 5 year old and 7 year old sleep in a car instead of helping us. Worse company on planet earth.
Will use hopper again they are amazing app no promble using them at thank you hopper I got to travel and see. My grandbaby
I decided to purchase two tickets for my brother and I today to head out of town. But when I went through the process and it said that it did not process at this time. Then I check my back account and get a pending charged for both tickets. And I'm trying to leave tomorrow 7/21/21. No confirmation. No call. No email. No costumer service. Absolutely nothing. I even had to called the airline and they said that they didn't find anything on there end. It's absolutely frustrating and irritating. I've contacted my bank. Contact Hopper (tired today called 3x). Contacted the airline. This app is truly a scam. I would not recommend this to my enemy. Hopper you will contact me and have this issue handled.

Sometimes when you attempt to book a flight in the app, the airline will place the authorization for the charge before the booking has been confirmed. Be careful when you freeze a flight especially if you click on it by accident. I have tried to cancel and I couldnt. I also messaged them theough the help center and I was denied.

When attempting to book a flight through the app, an error message occurred. So I decided just to book through the airline directly through a web browser since the prices were the same. A few hours later, i get an email confirming my flight through Hopper (as well as the new one I booked through the airlines website). Now I have two flights for the same trip. Submitted a help request through hopper, but am worried I will not get a response after reading all these reviews.
Hoppers prices were no lower than booking through the airline. This wasn't worth the hassle.

$#*! off Hopper. Don't use this waste of a website. Hopper should pay me the difference for waiting :) You're algorithms suck and the entire data analyst team should be fired for their TERRIBLE predictions.

I booked through Hopper for trip in September. I was looking at my American Airlines rewards in July and just happened to notice I only had 1 upcoming flight which was my return flight... no departing flight was there. I called American Airlines and they let me know that both my departing and returning flights were canceled and the new return flight was also canceled. Did hopper let me know or even update their itinerary? He'll no they didn't. If I was to look through the hopper app nothing was wrong and nothing changed. Lucky for me that I had American Airlines to fall back on. They helped me rearrange the flights for the same day and was told I was lucky to get on a flight for my return home. What a damn waste of time hopper was. I'm deleting the app now.
I tried the freeze option to secure the price of my flight, but in the end it did not change anything. It did not freeze the $188 tickets instead it went up to $306 BIG difference. Now I won't get my freeze deposit back and am out $86 and a trip to see my grandmother.

Someone got my resume online and contacted me for a job. He said he is Human Resources. He hired me via WhatsApp text. He asked for my name address and age. He told me he's sending me a check for $ 4,000 to buy equipment. This is a scam and I confirmed that when I heard his accent. Sad. People just never stop. These people are out of the country preying on us and stealing our money. They have no hearts or conscious and I pray for their souls. Here I am a survivor of this pandemic, ready to go back to work in an honest, healthy, happy and safe environment. This is a sad and bad world with bad people. Don't worry I'm not stupid enough to cash the fake check. I'll send it to my cousin who is FBI
The prize freeze is a scam. The money is non refundable and not explained until after the purchase.
No Customer service to speak to only texting and kelt say no refunds of any kind.
App needs to be removed
I canceled my flight in march 2020 due to covid. I was told United airlines had my credit. Then in Aug 2020 I wanted to rebook and United said they had given Hopper back my money. Now I can't get ahold of anyone at Hopper. Now they keep sending my messages saying that my email address isn't correct. The same address they've emailed me to before. How how do I get my REFUND or credit? They're really jerking me around. Why can't someone help?

I was buying plane ticket from Hopper. I used the app in the past and honestly I loved how good it is. My issue is not with with Hopper app in general but just with Price Freeze option. During this process to purchase price freeze it say "If the price increases, you'll pay the price you see now, if price goes down you will pay lower price". I purchased price freeze thinking I am locking in the price that I found and I have 7 days to finalize the purchase. In confirmation email also CLEARLY say "You have until Jun 26,2021 to purchase your flight at the FROZEN price". To me this means that I have until Jun 26 to purchase the ticket at the price I just found and purchased Price Freeze option. Well, couple days after I wanted to finalize the purchase and noticed that my ticket is around $380 more even after $51 that I paid for the Price Freeze is applied on the final ticket price. Then I found out that Price freeze option only covers UP TO $100 in price increase. I contacted support and they were not able to do anything except to explain me that this is how this option works and that it was described in the process. Honestly I do not remember during the process that I saw this. Even if there is, it's clearly not visible for people to notice and know before they buy into this option. When I looked at the email confirmation again all the way at the bottom I saw that it does say that it is up to $100 price difference but again the first thing I saw when I got the email was "You have until Jun 26,2021 to purchase your flight at the FROZEN price" so I did not even read the entire email (my mistake). To me this option is very misleading and almost like a scam and per their policy the $51 you pay at this point was not refundable.

I opted to use the price freeze because right on that page it says that if the price goes up you will only pay the price freeze amount. Within 10 minutes the total went up to $1500 instead of my price freeze amount of $732 total. They then told me by email of course that I could not cancel even though I tried to cancel within 30 minutes. This place is a scam. I looked at the hotel again and it's back down but as soon as you price freeze it goes up. Even though it says you will pay price freeze they will only cover $100 of the total price. Scam Scam Scam! Do not use hopper. WARNING! I have attached a screen shot of what the website tells you on the page to price freeze! SCAM

Please, take my advice and do not book with this app. First, there's no way to contact customer service. Apparently, there is a charge for this at the time of booking. Otherwise, the only option is to send an email (which will not be responded to). There are hidden fees after the booking and tons of misleading information regarding their price freeze. Buyer BEWARE! Stick to the major airlines or reputable third party booking sites, not this horrible hopper app! I have lost a significant amount of money with absolutely no way to discuss the issue. Please, learn from my mistake and do not try to "save" money with hopper. It doesn't work.

This company took the $430 for an airline trip and the trip was false. They do not provide any customer service at all. Cyber Bandits
Do not rent a car from this place. You will not get a refund after you paid in advance. Customer service will basically tell you that they are unable to give a refund for a service you never received. Please read reviews on rentalcars.com before you go further ahead. You have been warned.

Answer: File a claim with your bank. They charged me An additional 2 nights after hopper said they would refund my money. Instead they went without my consent n charged me an additional 2 nights. I was robbed for a total of 3 nights. Without being able to contact any support. A total Scam!
Answer: No they are about polar opposite of trustworthy. Run don't walk away from this company. My lesson cost $1435 dollars. If you require customer service look elsewhere they have none. Not even a phone number which is the first red flag.
Answer: There is no customer service, no phone number and no one will address your concerns on social media, or through their app.
Answer: DO NOT TRUST THIS APP WHAT SO EVER! They booked 3 nights after I was waiting for my refund. TOTAL SCAM!
