Charged extra for everything! Customer service was the worst. They told us they couldn't make changes to hotel, car rentals and that I would need to speak directly to the company. When I called the company, they could do nothing because it was booked through the third party app. Hoppers reps didn't even understand that THEY were the 3rd party app. Awful!

Hopper is such a scam. They went and moved our scheduled flight without our consent to an earlier day. We never received an email or notification on the app. Then they cancelled our original Itin so his return flight is cancelled as well. No email or Notification whatsoever. An now they have us on the phone for over 3 hours and they aren't even local at that…and all they are doing is going back and forth calling American Airlines when hopper are the ones that cancelled it. Dragging this out with no resolution for a new flight nor compensation for the flight now costing us DOUBLE! Will never use hopper again. And will blast this EVERYWHERE!

I bought a connection insurance from them as my two flights were to close in time. It happened that I missed my flight as I had assumed and contact them. I spent no less than 5 hours chatting with a hundred people, for nothing. Followed the instructions trying to rebook the flight with the app and it went wrong all times. The guys from call center didn't help in anything, didn't rebook the flight snd I ended up having to buy another ticket in the following day, really expensive ticket. They had all night and day to solve the issue but they just didn't care about it. The worst thing is that I don't even know how to proceed against them. I will probably let it go, learn the lesson and go with my life. Shame.

Booked my flight for jan 9 2024 7 months ago when it was cheap and they changed my flight to jan 8. They said that there are no flights available for jan 9 anymore and all of them are "cancelled" however, if you search through their app they are several flights for jan 9. They will just offer you a refund and hoping that you would book through them again with now much higher prices.

Honestly, Hopper is nice for finding lower rates on flights as well as mixing and matching airlines to find the cheapest flights available. HOWEVER, their customer service is quite literally nonexistent. I've used Hopper multiple times and more often than not I have run into issues, flight cancelations/delays etc. and they have no phone number to talk to a person, now they have no email to reach out to and the only way to get assistance is through the help chat option in the app, which is useless and just keeps referring you to their FAQ section. I would avoid Hopper if at all possible really... cheap flights but its not worth the headache if literally anything goes outside of the plan.

Opted for their cancellation program- they messed up my refund and didn't inform me either. I had to contact them and ask them, otherwise they had no plans of telling me. There is no customer service, every email is a different person, pretty sure it all ran by bots. If anything goes wrong with your booking, your doomed.
Most of their reviews are fake. Avoid at all costs

I don't recommend any one to use this app because this app is shiit they took my money and then when I called to request for a refund they didn't want to give it to me and when I disputed it on my bank they denied the claim, I worked for this money I don't steal it, I want my refund

Hopper broke our flights up as all separate bookings. Apparently they are notorious for this. So on our connections flight I had to go to the luggage claim, get my bag and recheck it,pay another luggage fee and still go through security again. REDICULOUS! Flight ran late, did not have time. Had to get on our connection flight w/out my luggage.
Hopper has been good for me until I did not have a DIRECT nonstop flight. If you have connecting flights and layovers. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH HOPPER!

TERRIBLE customer service! They never help you and you cant understand anyone! I have used this app a couple of times and every time is a hassle. They make you pay $42 just to speak to someone who doesnt understand you or what is going on with your flights. Their insurance is a scam as well. They offer you multiple different insurance plans but they dont actually cover anything. Spoke to the airlines to get a refund and the card on file from the app was a different card number for BOTH airlines. Said it was a card from a totally different state than what I live in. Now I wont get my money back and Hopper just says there's nothing they can do. I will NEVER use this app again!

They pick a time for you to pick up a car on the app, wont allow you to change. So you call them... they tell you to purchase the car and call the car rental company to change. You do and they say you oh we cant so cancel it and call hopper. You cancel it and call hopper and you cant talk to hopper unless you have a rental! So you purchase one... you cant talk to customer service unless you have the 'VIP Premium" talk to a rep service this is $7. So now you are PAYING to talk to customer service about already being annoyed. Then you purchase to talk to them just to get the run around all over again and end up cancelling your car rental and going with someone else. Awful, awful experience.

I used hopper for a flight to Iceland. On the returning flight, our connection through American Airlines changed times causing us to miss it. They could not rebook us on another flight and refused to give us refunds/travel credit for flights we had to buy on our own so we could get home, even though we had a missed connection guarantee and disruption guarantee on our flight. Was told conflicting things by customer service. The customer service overall was terrible and it was all false advertising. DO NOT USE HOPPER. They will vanish or refuse to help when you need it.

This app is a complete rip off and 100% unreliable. I booked a flight for two for over $900 that was supposed to depart at 12:10. After carefully reviewing the itinerary, I confirmed the payment and this is when there was an "inadvertent system error" that changed my departure time to 4pm. I have made Several calls to customer service attempting to resolve this issue and have gotten the absolute run around. Despite an email from Hopper admitting error, there has been Zero attempt to help me get my original departure time for this flight. Over 900 dollars wasted and absolute worst customer service experience.

The hopper app is the worse. Twice in one night I came across very good deals and tried to freeze them. Was denied but the money for the purchase was in my account. So I called customer service. After being on hold for 35 min waiting for the agent to tell me what was wrong they finally returned telling me that I swiped too many times and now I had to wait until the next day. Of course I swiped a few times because I kept getting denied knowing I had the funds in my account. Then I was advised to book through the hotel which was a $210 difference. Hopper is the worse booking app there is.

I decided to use Hopper for a flight I was buying for my friend. The total came out to $363. As soon as I placed the order, I noticed I was charged $33 extra for a "VIP Customer Service Fee" that I never signed up for. (Do they add this automatically or did I miss something?). I immediately requested a refund and was told it would take up to 2 billing cycles to be refunded. The 2 months came and went - no refund. I just chatted with customer service for them to tell me that they will process the refund now. What? What happened 2 months ago when they told me the refund was being processed then? Makes me think they apply these fees hoping you won't notice, then tell you they will refund you and hope you don't notice after 2 months that the refund never went through. Seems like a scam. Would not use Hopper again.

I booked a flight using this app and paid for our selected seats. Upon check in they randomly assigned our seats to us and separated my group and did not even have us sitting by each other. I am horrified. I have NEVER had this happen before.

Very frustrating to be wrangled by a robot that will not accept the hopper booking # as it claims that it is "not eligible for vip phone support."
The airline insists that customers adjust their reservations through the "agent." Hopper, as the agent will not even accept a phone call.
Customer beware! I will never use them again.

Hopper is the worst app ever I paid for a hotel and didn't get the hotel with all the amenities that I paid for I was paying for a Jacuzzi and never got a Jacuzzi and the want u to contact the the hotel and hotel tell you to contact them just a big waste of time and money never again Hopper need hop in a hot lake

We booked a flight using Hopper - 4 adults, a toddler and lap child, Norfolk to Ft. Lauderdale, with a connection in Tampa. It came up with a great price using Spirit Airlines and Breeze. I've flown the discount airlines before and had good experience so I did not hesitate to book this trip. What I did not know was that on my change over in Tampa I had to go to baggage claim get my luggage and recheck with the next airline... Who even offers a flight like that it's impossible to make the connection, Our connection is a little over an hour absolutely impossible to do that with having to go back through security. I have used Expedia for years and never had a situation like this. I have been told there is nothing they can do for us, we got confirmation from 2 different airlines we should have know. Well guess what I did not! I have never experienced such a failure with a flight before I though these systems had algorithms built in that would not allow to schedule an impossible flight connection. My only option is to get new tickets and lose what I paid which is over $1000.00. We would absolutely miss out connecting flight which means we would miss our cruise. I will never use hopper again. Makes that low cost flight a hell of a lot more!

We saw this business with low rates, so we took a chance to ship a package to our family in Dubai. First of all they changed carriers in the middle of the shipment. There was minimal communication from the company, very hard to communicate with package hopper. Just today the package reached to our family and when it was opened, one of the starlily unicorn toys (one of the 2 did arrive), a pair of adidas slippers for a child, a necklace and ring, rayban sunglasses, not all candy we sent was there. I am very upset as to how the package that was sent was handled and went through, items were stolen, this is the worst handling of a personal package to our family we have ever had. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy! Horrible service! Horrible communication! Horrible handling! Horrible! Horrible! Horrible!

Answer: File a claim with your bank. They charged me An additional 2 nights after hopper said they would refund my money. Instead they went without my consent n charged me an additional 2 nights. I was robbed for a total of 3 nights. Without being able to contact any support. A total Scam!
Answer: No they are about polar opposite of trustworthy. Run don't walk away from this company. My lesson cost $1435 dollars. If you require customer service look elsewhere they have none. Not even a phone number which is the first red flag.
