It was not clear how my information was getting provided and when i was questioning how the service worked when i received a phone call the rep was rude and hung up on me.
I tried HomeLight for the first time as I was selling an investment property, and they quickly found me many good realtors in the area. After interviewing a few of them (through emails, and phone calls), I chose a realtor that fit my requirements, and I had my home listed, and sold within two weeks. Did everything online.
Super easy process, and I was matched with professional and well-prepared Realtors. I highly recommend this service! Thank you!
Being a first time seller is difficult, not knowing the process, how to find a realtor, etc. The representative from HomeLight was knowledgeable, kind, and so helpful. I did contact all four agents that were referred to me. The final decision of which agent would handle the sale of my home was made by me, not HomeLight. The contacts they sent me were wonderful. I'm very pleased with the process. Thank you HomeLight!
I would rate the realtor and Homelight to zero stars. I'll use realtor instead of the real name because I don't want the person to get any shine from the truth I'm saying about her. There were request I asked the realtor do (example is an open house) and the realtor refused to do. There were discussions of getting a contractor to do work and I found a contractor to do the work and the realtor did not like how the contractor did the work. The realtor only took showings from brokers and no one else.
The realtor would quote me for services way above asking rates (yard work) and wanted the work to be done by the realtor's clients at a high price. I wanted receipts for services the realtor did have done (with my approval) and took days to get. The realtor was upset because I wouldn't sign a addendum (fix a sink) that I already said I wouldn't sign due to the buyer wanted me to agree to something I wouldn't do. The realtor text said "Because you never signed it in the first place and as many times as I tried to have you do that you wouldn't do it but yet you fixed everything on there". To me that's unacceptable. All of this for a $20 Amazon card and numerous spam calls and text asking for another person.
I responded to one of their emails, saying that they would estimate the value of my home, After I entered all of my info, they responded with a span of $195K to $351K! Then when I got a call from them, I told them I didn't want calls from them anymore (if she wouldve of asked why, I would have told her because here company is deceptive in their marketing) She said don't fill out the estimate form again if I don't want calls,. Then hung up on me!
Refered person Chris never put sign up. Never let me know the posting expired to renew. What a joke.
No sign for selling a house
Home light did a remarkable job with the sale of our home.
Kathie Kazimi did a wonderful job with our sale and made everything very organized and comfortable with the process. She was always available as soon as a question arose and needed a response. I would recommend her to anyone in need of an agent. We had a very successful outcome and received the price we wanted. Thank you so much for your service.

I was continually getting emails from Homelight asking me to fill out a review on the realtor who helped us sell our home. She was not in database so we could not leave a review. Sent several emails to Homelight but kept getting emails and could not review her. Bottom line is that you can only review realtors who pay them to be there, and therefore send happy customers to leave reviews. Not really a very biased review process.
I did write a review but do not see it. I would not use any realtor from this site. She was purely political and was rude and insulting. She demanded to know why I had nine realtors from 2013 to 2019, have an vacant acre and have a house on an acre each I have listed separately. I asked her for the names of the realty companies she was referring to since it was not my history. She refused to give me the nine she was alleging I had used. I felt as if I had to explain myself to her, very disrespectful. She has high sales but my opinion of realtors with high sales is they sell under price homes. When I sent her an email asking again for the nine she was referring to so I could check the history for any future realtor contacts she threatened me saying she would report me for harassment. Really, quite a player, Obviously talked to last realtor who had referred unlicensed felons to do work and damaged my home and then brought low ball offer on my acre. I refused to negotiate, and she got angry and resigned. Something strange as thread of texts and email file disappeared, then comes this one from HomeLight with insults. She seemed upset when I told her the realtors partner who does unlicensed home upgrades and had three assault felonies, one with a deadly weapon, suspect she hired him to do some work. The attitude just too out of the blue. So who knows what goes on behind the scenes. I am 77 and do not deserve to be badgered. Do not like the idea that you give credit for good reports for your referrals. Not getting undeserved recommendations. Numbers do not tell the tale.
I am ever so grateful to Homelight for connecting me to Chantel Boone. She responded very quickly, was honest and professional, and got my house on the market quickly. I'm happy to report that I sold the house within weeks and for much more than I expected!
I am so grateful that HomeLight provided the recommendation for Bahareh Kamoei. She was quick to respond and offered professional advise on pricing and prepping the sale
I was thrilled with the service we got through HomeLight. They responded within moments of my question online, talked with me about specifically what I was looking for, and then sent me a list of highly recommended Realtors that could sell my house in Chicago. My house had already been on the market with another realty Company for almost a year. HomeLight hooked me up with Hayley Westhoff, and she was absolutely fantastic! I've been in the business of selling repossessed houses through my company for 17 years, and I have worked with a ton of Realtors during that time, and Hayley is probably the best one I've ever seen. She and her partner Anna sold our house in a month after it had been on the market for a year already with another firm. Hayley, Anna and HomeLight really delivered!
Deciding to go to Homelight to help us in the search for a good fit for a realtor was one of the best decisions of our property search. Being able to set the criteria and specialization of the type of realtor we were looking for was simple and straightforward. And the speed with which our matches reached out to us was very impressive. We spoke with 5-6 potential realtors shortly after and made a final decision by the end of the week. Homelight is a great resource and if we are ever looking in another area, we will definitely utilize it again.
I have sold multiple homes using realtors who came highly recommended by people I trust. Without exception, each listed the property on the local MLS which became the extent of their marketing program for my properties: If they can find it, they might come. Your service provided me with an outstanding realtor whose marketing program was impressive encompassing professionally staged and shot photos, and an extensive social media marketing campaign. And, my property was a modestly priced one bedroom condo! We sold our unit in less than the average time similar units, and we received a fair price for our property. I highly recommend HomeLight.
This company asks you for your preferred gender for agent! This is one of the most sexist thing you can do as a company. At least they are very clear of their company values. Congratulations you lost another customer.
I was dreading putting my condo on sale but with the help of homelight, it took 2 weeks from the time they sent me phone numbers of some realtors, to being sold, Thankyou so much you made the stress go away, still can't believe how easy you made it thankyou, already given your numbers to 2 other people.
We were first time home buyers and were pretty new to the entire home buying process. We had started working with one realtor but still felt lost after weeks of searching. Ultimately, that paired with communication issues led us to try and find someone who we felt wanted to guide us instead of treating us like an inconvenience. Homelight put us I touch with a great realtor and Mari was amazingly helpful and fast to communicate and answer all our questions. A few showings later and we were on our way into our first home!
I'm grateful for the assistance I received from Homelight. My husband and I decided to buy a home since the lease on our apartment was about to expire. We felt the time was right. I began to look at houses online but really needed some direction. I came across Homelight which offered to connect me with an agent. I submitted my information and heard back right away. I was given multiple options and chose Walker Musso from Josh Vernon. The connection was perfect. Walker was professional and helpful. He helped us find just the right house and I couldn't be happier.
