Home Depot's reputation is marked by a mix of positive and negative customer experiences. Many customers appreciate the wide selection of products and the knowledgeable staff, which contribute to a convenient shopping experience. However, significant concerns arise regarding customer service, particularly related to installation issues, return policies, and delayed deliveries. Customers frequently report dissatisfaction with the handling of complaints and a perceived lack of support, leading to frustration and a sense of being undervalued. Overall, while the company offers a robust product range, its customer service approach appears inconsistent, impacting overall satisfaction.

You can shop home depot and buy more than you need, example buy extra paint, not to run out before you finish painting, return the rest for a full refund.
The salesman in appliances was very helpful when I needed a new oven. Not having the countertop oven I wanted, he looked it up online, ordered it and I picked it up in five days. No fuss, no muss. I couldn't be happier!
I shop at both, but I'm more inclined to shop at Home Depot. Their prices are better and the staff are much more available and friendly. Check prices before shopping either store and see for yourself.
Is about the best place besides Menards to get your home improvement needs
Special order a 23 3/8 window X54 and received a 20 in X54 which I could have ordered and not waited 34 days for delivery; They offered to reship but I accepted $50.00 off and made opening smaller.
Better prices than Lowe's. Sometimes employees are not in the mood to help customers. But they carry lots of superior brands, especially Behr Paint, that I find is superior to all other paints. They are good to stand by with compensations when their guys mess up an installation.
My local home Depot is great for getting all my tools and appliances, they are very friendly and super helpful.
We owe at least three fourths of our new and beautiful happy home to Home Depot. It's so exciting to shop there and put your house together!
Everything you need. Good prices. Great service. I always shop at HomeDepot.
Always have what we need when we need it. Prices are great too. Never a complaint.
The title says it all. This company has successfully limited the 'veteran pool' by giving a 10% discount ONLY to active duty or veterans with a VETERAN ID CARD, which is now ONLY issued to RETIRED veterans with 20+ years, effectively reducing the number of veterans they give a discount to. Even a form DD-214, which PROVES your service, is not good enough! I have VETERAN on my drivers license, which I OBVIOUSLY had to prove to get, and that is also not 'acceptable' proof. That's all well and good anyway, their stores are always a mess and IF you can find any help, they're clueless anyway. A little more respect to our vets would be nice, bit I guess we'll have to wait for a law to be passed, until then, thanks for your service, but no thanks.
This is a great place to get items for home maintenance and repairs.
Yes they are bad about resolving issue with a damaged lg fridge. It came from lg in a undamaged box dented up. I cant get a faster delivery and time that is good for me. I am just a number, wait a week and not even a early morning delivery either/what ere suites Home depot not the customer.
#1: Tim Dunfee 'store manager' in Willow Grove PA thinks it appropriate to get in a customer's face using loud, confrontational tones after lazily and loudly asserting repeatedly the blinds I was returning without a receipt sell for 1.50 each?!?... but, after spending a few moments after his ugly attempt at intimidation he reluctantly found a larger amount and acquiesced as if he was doing me a favor... F for customer handling Timmy... bad manager.
#2: in the tool dept asking about bits for drills bought earlier this month... lazy guy comes by and reads the same package I read and then suggests I go to the front of the store to the Christmas display... "there would be MORE items outside of the actual tool dept" I asked... dull look, no effort to get someone with more experience, NAH, too much trouble... F again
#3: came in to get 2 keys made last month... "we don't have the 'regular blanks' cause nobody's ordered them for months, you'll hafta pay 5x the normal amount for those others in different colors"... we get to pay extra for your fail?!?... F again! That's 3 Fs in a row!... seems like they're going the way of Hechingers, you know the store chain that failed and closed.
Staff is always helpful and friendly. Prices are about the same as any large home improvement store. They typically have what I'm looking for.
About the only thing I buy at Home Depot are solar garden lights because they have a better selection than Lowes. The employees are all but useless. The service is lousy. They hire all the people that Lowes fires.
They have everything I need with helpful diy projects, calculator, what I would need for a project, videos and so on...
Easy online order, delivered to your door. Such convenience.
Thank you Home Depot employees!
Shipping is always fast, prices are very competitive. Much easier than going on an HD mission in town lol..
Answer: Hi Betty, you can also return without receipt if you purchased using your credit card. Give them the same CC and they can tell the price you bought at.
