This was my first time using Angi. The job was scheduled but it was a No Show. No one showed up and I was still charged for the work. I don't know who to call to resolve this.

The Angie List model was very easy to use and gave you the initiative in pursuing your project. It seems that the new Angie is the result of decisions to take that control away from users. The result is annoying spam like follow-up emails from Angie.
That said, I have been very pleased with the results of the two major projects done by businesses I eventually located through Angie.
HomeAdvisor called me and in some confusion I received a call from a young lady who was from Houston, Tx. And she told me that Manny was not going to be able to come to Killeen. Tx. To installation of my door which was confusing but then I received another call after 5:00 PM from the Manny I had spoken to earlier telling me he was on his way back from a job and wanted to stop by and take a look at the project, and I said that I would meet him there in 30 minutes, to my relief. We did and now it's done.
