HomeAdvisor introduce all kind service companies quickly and they do a good job. It will help solve various problem.
When I search for the movers, I got a response back within 30 minutes. I needed help because the movers I initially booked were a no show. I turned to Angi's and got the help I needed. I will never use Thumbtack again, that is where I found the original movers that were a no show.
I unwittingly and quite accidentally contacted Angi while searching for a repair professional. Since that time, I receive no less than 3 phone calls per day, multiple texts, and unwanted emails. I have unsubscribed to the emails, have told the representatives to take me off their list, and have told every repair person that contacted me that Angi didn't even get my repair issue correct, yet I'm still being spammed by multiple phone calls and texts. I would never knowingly deal with this company!
This was a great experience. The company did everything and more than was required. Careful of my house and made sure it was clean when they left. Will definitely hire again

The company I hired was referred to me quickly and based on reviews i saw, I hired them. They showed up the next day and I am very pleased with their work.
If you are a contractor take my lesson and DO NOT SIGN UP. They will charge you 100s with very unclear terms up front. Your sales person will promise they only charge for leads you use but that is not true. They charged me $300 for the first month before I caught it and canceled. Then, next month I get a $100 charge. And now 2 weeks later AFTER I CANCELED THE ACCOUNT another mystery $25 charge for 'last months billing leads'. If they really told contractors how their system works up front no one would use them. You have been warned fellow Contractors!

Got the right painter locally at the right time needed with great reviews
I had made several phone calls and I could get a appointment for a qualified well person to come out for a bout a week, so I saw the pop up for HomeAdvisor--filled out the work sheet and got a call back in under 15 minutes. I talked to Justin and sent him pictures of what the pump/motor/control and well pit looked like; answered a few questions and he gave be a date and time for the next day. He had a few delays but kept us aware of his schedule. He took less than 1.5 hours from start to finish. Justin explained what he was doing; a few changes he made to the pressure in the air bladder and "If" there were any problems to call him right away.
What I enjoyed most about contacting Angie's is the variety of quotes and how quickly they followed up if we needed additional quotes. Keep up the great work Angie's!
