Home Advisor was very helpful in finding contractors in the area. But, you still need to do your own research. I had a contractor come out and give a quote significantly less than everyone else, but when I started to ask about insurance, they ghosted me. So, you can't assume that contractor's license and insurance status has been pre-verified.
Needed tile and grout cleaned. Checked out several operators both you recommended and I researched. Doug Moore is the best.

I had several good roofing companies come and bid on the project. I chose the one that I believed fit my needs the best. They were nbot the cheapest nor the most expensive. The work was excellent and the price was very reasonable for what I wanted and received.
The team of three did an excellent job and I will hire them again!

The company came and fixed and installed extra sprinkler heads. Installed new sod in front yard after preparing the soil properly. Cleaned gutters and washed windows. The guys were always so friendly and personable. Outstanding work. Well worth the money.
I'm moving and needed quite a few services, from locksmiths, to deck repair and cleaning, to siding, to electrical. The recommended providers follow up less than half the time, and when they do, they either can't provide what I needed (in particular deck repair - I was referred to several providers who only do deck cleaning, not repair, in spite of the fact that I chose deck repair as the service needed). And then they try to sell you a sight unseen estimate for a provider they book themselves. All in all, it's been a mediocre experience at best.
Benjamin R -- this proiect ended up in complete disaster. Wallpaper completely ruined and must be replaced. Paint job mid-level. Must be retouched and repainted in many areas. Please very disrespectful and complaining. Excessive cost to me: new wallpaper, repainting, unable to wash and dry clothes until job is finished. All in all, I am very dissatisfied. How can a company such as yours send out such unskilled workers. I will not pay for this job and feel out I am out at least $500. Carole White
Dave and Dan of T&T came over within 2 hours of my calling them to repair a roof leak. They replaced wood underneath the shingles, fixed the air vents that caused the problem, and installed new shingles. I called them at 9:30 and the entire job was complete by 3:00. They answered every question politely and in detail. I recommend their services to anyone and will hire them again if the need arises.
I immediately received calls on my project and quickly found the professional I wanted to work.

I requested bids for a fence replacement project. Bid requests were sent immediately and I started receiving requests to bid within an hour. I received bid requests from three companies and had them review and provide bids. The range of bids seemed to be extreme from low to high and from sparse detail to a fair amount of cost analysis. I chose the middle bid due to detailing of the project and amount of explanation given for variables related to this project. Timing of completion was not a factor in the decision but the contractor was very accommodating with my time schedule and completed the work sooner than I had expected.
