Got three calls within minutes of submitting request on Angi. All 3 set up appts for next day and all 3 arrived on time and provided good advice and fair estimates.
We requested a computer repair company and Home Advisor set up an appointment but the company they chose never approved the appointment so on the day and time of the appointment no one showed up. My husband works an hour away from home and took time off to be there for the appointment. We called the company to find out when they were coming and we weren't on their schedule and he had not responded to the request for appointment from Home Advisor. He was very nice and still made time for us to come see him instead of him coming to our home. He was very fair with pricing and very professional. Something should be done to correct this issue. There should be a confirmation from the company before home advisor sends a confirmed appointment to the consumer.

During the encounter with the representative from home advisor I was confused as to their relationship with the painters and who was communicating with whom.
Horrible. Every time they sent an e-mail with pros responding to my request, the links to respond to these pros were DEAD. In fact they were not even links, just images. I sent this issue to Home Advisor and as of yet have not receive any response. I will NEVER use Home Advisor again, as it is useless for me.
When a homeadvisor rep called me after I requested tree service, the rep transferred me to one of the tree service company. When I told him what I wanted done he told me that he did not do that anymore and hung up. That didn't settle very well with me. Very unprofessional. However, another tree service "TrezRUs" did contact me and was hired to do the job.
