The company that did house cleaning before the sale of my home was excellent. The person who set up the appointment was competent and a pleasure to work with on the phone. The cleaners did a beautiful job and they were warm and friendly. This was a great experience.

The company that I dealt with to have some siding repair, pressure washing, and painting came to my home to get an idea of the work involved only after several calls. They said they would send me an estimate and though I called several times I never received it. Very Poor Business!

Chose 3 companies to bid on project and got a response from one same day.

The company has MANY ancillary websites that make you think you are communicating with a small, local mom and pop business, with family photos and all. Then when submit a form to be contacted, you see it was sent off to homeadvisor. You start getting emails and texts from homeadvisor. And I was "matched" with contractors that had NOTHING to do with what I actually needed. Very very shady business practices. They are making it extremely difficult to find legitimate contractors in my area. I'm on a VPN and can appear to be submitting these forms from any location in the world that I choose. So the websites and domains will all look the same, but the city/state/area code listed on them will change to make you think the "mom & pops" are local to wherever you happen to be. VERY SHADY. I wish Google would catch on to this stuff.

Arizona Construction started working on the Bathroom and Shower remodel in December 2020 and said it would be completed "before the holidays". It has been a frustrating experience because of COVID and of the timeliness of some of the work being done. The people that had come to work on the bathroom were not tidy and had left piles of the torn up tile and other debris in my garage for about a month as well as the toilet not being reinstalled for about the same time. I had to contact AZ Construction at the end to fix some of the holes left in the walls as well as spackling left undone. Would not advise.

My 96-year-old mother fell and had to be admitted to rehab. Her neighbor told her he would "take care of" her lawn while she was in rehab. He only mowed the front yard and one of the neighbors called the city and complained. I had a very short window of time to get someone to mow... and we were having to deal with spring rains. I entered my information on HomeAdvisor, and within two hours, Backcountry Lawn Care called me. We had to work around the rain, but within two days, the lawn was mowed to perfection and Mom was on their schedule for regular mowing.

I had tried for two weeks to get someone to help me from the Internet got nothing.
I put my information into HomeAdvisor and 10 minutes later I have someone on the phone to help me and project was done a week later.

Without warning Home Advisor sent me a bill straight to collections and refused to resolve it. Was never sent any leads and it wants $250 for no reason.

I signed up for this company with good intentions of growing my Lawncare business. I started receiving a good amount of leads majority were big fields that were taller than me with trash and debris. No leads were solid or consistent. I canceled my membership within the first 3 months and over 10 months later they charged me 200+ for leads. 10 MONTHS LATER! I tried to get a refund and they wouldn't refund my money. Only give me in house credits. They called me 3 months ago and tried to bribe me with leads to come back and I declined respectfully and told them I wasn't using their service anymore. That's when the charges started again. DO NOT USE HOME ADVISOR THEY STEAL MONEY FROM SMALL BUSINESSES.
