It was easy to use HomeAdvisor. After entering our needs, we were immediately given company names. By the time I got off my computer, I already had several companies contacting me. I selected 3 to get estimates from and made appointments with two of them - one for that day and one for the next day. Both arrived in a timely manner to assess the situation and provide an estimate for doing the work. (The 3rd company could not come until the next week, so we did not make an appointment.)
Home Advisor is very helpful at helping customers find options, the respective vendor then gives you a call and you can pick and choose and evaluate as required
Initially they only give you names of companies and won't give you the info you need to contact the companies. After finally getting the info they pester you with all kinds of other trash for more and more projects and don't even have first one done
