I signed up for the expert project advisor service. Initially talked to a rep through text who sent a contractor over to look over my project. Contractor came over and said I should get rates through homeadvisor the next day. 5 days went by and I heard nothing. I texted my rep multiple times and heard nothing. I called customer service, was transferred 3 times and finally told my rep had gone on vacation and they would assign someone else to my project. Another 3 days passed and i hear nothing. Call back, transferred 3 times again and informed there is no record of an account in my name. The rep gives me a number of a contractor in my area. The contractor did a wonderful job but my experience with Homeadvisor itself was terrible.
Several days after my project was complete, my Homeadvisor rep texts me saying he just got back from vacation and he can get me quotes now.
Several problems here:
You don't seem to transfer accounts away from people who are going to be off multiple weeks.
Your customer data seems to be held on different systems that have no way of speaking to eachother leading to me being transferred multiple times and told different things at different times.
Good, I've used this method before and always pleased with the response and referrals.

I entered the usual information I have entered before to request Angi request. After that, everything seemed to go a bit sideways, some contractors called but I did not see their info online and some connections came in an email that seemed to link to nothing. I also got an email that offered a percentage off if I contracted via Angi, but there was no indication who the provider would be - who would agree to that?
The contractor I did choose did a great job and we are doing some additional work in the future.
Only received one provider response. However that turned out to be enough. 2 hours after contacting HomeAdviser with my request the job was completed.
We used this site to find a carpet cleaner in our area and it hooked us up with someone right down the street! We are happy with the services we received and even more glad to help a Black-owned business in our town. Will definitely use this service again!
