I don't know why I didn't see all the crappy reviews about this company or maybe the website I was looking at was theirs which they seem to only post good comments. I bought a 2-piece suit. It was crumpled in the bag; no hangar. The jacket sleeves were way too short, and the holes for the arms were so small, I'm sure I'd rip it if I raised my arms. The pants were too short and too big in the waist. I just wanted my money back, but their customer service person said I had to take it to a tailor, have the pants altered, and they would remake the jacket. I've sent a couple of emails to customer service, and nobody has gotten back to me. The quality of the material is not good either, and it took forever for me to get this suit. I bought a DKNY suit from amazon.com and it fit perfectly, cost less, arrived much quicker, and the quality was much better. I will never buy another ANYTHING from them again. I'd rather get my money back and buy another one from amazon.com, but I doubt they'll do anything but give me the run-around through emails. Crap... Unbelievable!
Okay, I responded back to them privately expressing my desire to send them the whole thing back so I can get a DKNY suit from amazon.com, and they jabbered on about it not having resale value. Who the heck cares? I wouldn't pay $100 for that suit if I saw it on a rack in a store, and it will take at least 3 weeks to get the remade jacket back. It's just a hassle all the way around. I had to pay $22.50 to mail it back to SPAIN, and had to pay way more than that if I wanted proof they received it through Express mail. That makes this suit over $300, which it definitely is not worth that. I also accused them of taking advantage of International Trade something-or-another, because in this country, if someone is unhappy with a product, they can get their money back whether the product can be resold or not. So, they're using their own country laws to justify not making me a happy camper! I got an email saying they refunded the money to alter the pants, and then she reiterated for me to mail the jacket back when I sent HER receipts of me doing so on 6/2/16 (SMH). It's like she isn't reading my emails or some nonsense like that. Anyway, I still will never do business with this company again.
Sorry, Sir, but your policies suck! Like I said, this has been a complete hassle for me, and whoever was responding to me in emails was giving me the run-around and vague answers. I bet that jacket comes back and doesn't fit again! And, if you had sent me the alteration money in time, I would've been able to use the money. As it stands, you waited so long and I shutdown the card used to pay for it! Just shabby all the way around. Never again! Don't do business with this company if you appreciate your sanity.
I was apprehensive when the box arrived; it seemed entirely too small to hold a woman's suit and trousers. However, all three pieces were there and they all fit wonderfully well. I was very impressed by the quality of the wool used, and thought the tailoring was well done too. This company offered exactly what they promised in very short time. I do not live near a big city, so quality tailoring is not easy to find in my area. This service provides a very useful alternative to local tailoring and a better fit than off-the-rack. Thank you!
I ordered a pair of wool slacks, sent the correct measurements and they came in way too short, i contacted them sent a picture and they produced another pair that were correct, no questions or problems. The wool was a slightly lesser quality than i was expecting but the fact that they fixed the problem without a hassle was impressive. I would use them again
While I was impressed with this company's site software, I feel they commit fraud with the promises on their website. I've never seen such terrible looking/fitting clothing and the fiber content did not match what they told me the fabrics were composed of. I ordered 4 garments: a cashmere coat (way too big and more unflattering than any coat I've ever tried on "off the rack") that felt much more like wool (scratchy) than cashmere, 2 tailored shirts (way too big for me, one of them "100% cotton" that definitely had synthetic fiber in it, neither of them constructed as any regular tailored shirt I've ever seen - shoulder seams were in the wrong place, making the neck not fit at all) and a pair of pants (too long, too big and generally horrible-looking). While their clothing may be less expensive than other tailored clothing, it is far from "fitting-like-a-glove" as imaginable and much more expensive than "off-the-rack" clothing I can get same-day, any day, where I live. And their customer service when I asked for a refund? No. They absolutely refused and told me instead to take them to a local tailor to get them fixed. My local tailor said the Sumissura pieces were made very poorly and they would have to open up most every seam to fix the garments to fix me, which would have cost much more than the clothing did in the first place, which Sumissura refused to pay. Then, they insisted I send them pictures of myself in the clothing (which was a huge pain, as I live alone and had to make arrangements with someone else to take the pictures for me) so they could re-make the clothing. After I did so, they told me I needed to carefully measure each seam in their pieces and one of mine that fits me well and send them all the dimensions... this, after I'd already wasted hundreds of dollars and at least 8 hours jumping through all their hoops thus far. It is absolutely unacceptable to me to ask a customer to do so much of the work for you. I can make my own patterns and clothing. Dealing with Sumissura has been a total waste of my time and money. Save yours. Do not order custom clothing from this site, unless you, too, want to get ripped off. I can only assume they delete all negative reviews from their site, which says they've had more than 100,000 happy customers. That is hard/impossible to believe based upon my own experience with this company.
Dear E. M.;
We have a Post-selling policy http://tailor4less.com/en-us/info/alterations and Terms of Use http://tailor4less.com/en-us/info/legal that could be read before placing an order that allows us to refund for alterations (depending on the problem and garment involved) and also, if there is any production problem, we can make a second shipping of the product. Due to the fact that every product is 100% individually custom-tailored and handcrafted just for you, we do not refund the total amount of the order in any case. This is standard practice for custom-tailored products as there is no resale value.
In order to check if we can offer you a remake, we have to receive the requested pictures. This is necessary to ensure that the clothes do not fit you. Some measurements will be also requested in order ensure the best fit in the new production.

I was really excited about this company and bought 3 pieces. My measurements were taken by an experienced taylor (just in case) according to their guidelines.
When I received the goods, it was a disaster. The jacket needed adjustment, the skirt as well and the pants needed to be remade. I live in Scandinavia, local taylors are expensive. They just wanted to refund 30 euros, when the taylor cost 70 at least. I was travelling and couldn't send the measurement for pants inmediately or go to my local taylor before 2-3 weeks. They refused to refund and offer me a very special credit.
Are they dreaming?. Do they think that people are stupid?. I may loose a little money but their investors,..., I am sorry about them, I would advise them to get out of that company.
Never buy from this company.
The whole experience with this company has been below average. The customer service team are inadequately equipt with the knowledge of servicing customer enquires. My suit has taken close to a month and I've just received an email stating it will now take a further 5 days for shipping. I've been getting suits tailor made me in China for 10years and nothing compares to this company. Take your money else where... Or better still burn it. You'll get more satisfaction out of that.
Dear Sarah-Jane,
Thank you for your message.
Our delivery time is usually 2 weeks from the moment of online payment to home delivery. We need at least 15 days to tailor and deliver an order matching our standards.
The orders placed in February have been sent with a delay. Our customers were advised about it in the moment they made the purchase.
As already stated, our policy does not allow to receive a refund. We would like to compensate for this delay with a discount for your next order.

I recently ordered two shirts from Tailor4less. One shirt fit perfectly and the other did not (sleeves were a couple of inches too lone and the shoulder area was tight). I inquired on how to correct the issue and was told to use a local tailor. The local tailor indicated that a correction could not be made locally due to the design flaws of the shirt. I inquired s to next steps, which was told required me to send the shirt back at MY expense. I had to submit a photo as proof, at which point the customer service rep (Sergio Valle) responded that the shirt fit me well. Regardless the fact that the local tailor negatively commented on the fit and I, the customer was not satisfied with the "custom" fit. Stay way from this company, they are more concerned with quickly closing service tickets and do not have good strategy around customer service. Two shirts ordered at the same time, one fit and one did not, so if you are interested in 50% accuracy, feel free to use Tailor4less. I have since used Indochino and the fit and customer experience was excellent. I also checked their terms and if a shirt can't be adjusted by a local tailor, they take care of the shipping or remake a shirt at no added costs.

I ran a trial run of this service, ordering 1 pair of straight leg corduroy pants. The fabric was horrible. Seriously, I don't think I've ever seen such thin corduroy - oh, maybe at a Kmart or the like. The styling was hideous. I'm pretty sure all they did was take my measurements and add another inch. There you have it. Pants that are not comfortable. Pants that cling. Yuck.
Dear Ralph,
Thank you for your purchase in Tailor4less.
We recommend you visit our website to browse our large assortment of fabrics. You can see and eventually order fabric samples to judge color and touch at the following link: https://www.tailor4less.com/en-us/fabrics-collection/

I received a coat from this company and it had so many flaws two tailors found it hard to believe any tailors was involved in the production but the biggest flaw which could not be fixed was the pockets had been placed so high they cut right across the waistband and they failed to put any loops for the belt at the front of the coat because had they done this they would of sat right on top of the pockets, so they knew they was sending out a substandard coat when I contacted this company and sent them pictures they refused to give me a refund asking me to send the coat to another country at cost to me! This company also remove all pictures from the site and all negative comments in my experience this company is dishonest, selling substandard coats and just trying to wear the consumer out so they discontinue trying to get refunds. AVOID THIS and Sumissura.

I waited 3 weeks for a custom suit that arrived packed into a tee shirt box, so arrived very wrinkled and creased. Next, the jacket was not the style I originally ordered and I have a 36 waist but it was easily 50in. Also, the jacket was unevenly tailored, so the right side of the jacket fit unevenly, with extra fabric forming a lump when buttoned. Also, the fabric is poor quality, very thin, more in line with shirt quality fabric vs. a mans quality suit. I contacted their customer service and they basically sent me copy of their no refund or return policy. They actually sent me the wrong jacket and refused to take it back. Then they recommended that I contact a local Tailor to have the jacket cut correctly, Yes they actually suggested I find a "Real Tailor" to fix their substandard craftsmanship and they would partially pay for alterations not to exceed a fraction of the actual cost of the alteration and forward receipts. It seems totally stupid to spend $150 on alterations for a jacket and pants that are poor quality in the first place and look cheap. They are basically a SCAM or Con-Artist company with a nice web-site pretending to be a real Clothing Company when its just a poor quality Chinese manufacturer stealing money. They take your money, send you trash and refuse to give refunds or returns, under no circumstance with you get your money back or get a quality garment.
Dimensions non respectées, pas de remboursement...
Une très mauvaise expérience, j'ai perdu plus de 150 euros dans l'achat d'une veste impossible à porter.
After having a coat that can not be fixed, I sent it back to Sumissura to discover after few days that they closed my support ticket. Paypal suggested that I contact The Internet Crime Complaint Centre but still to try to resolve the issue with the seller. I have told Sumissura what I am going to do and they immediately offered me an option to get a new coat. The new coat was made to the same measurements as before, but the new one was just amazing. Guys, do not give up if you are not happy with the clothes they made for you.
I have received my trousers that I paid 100usd and 130aud for and am extremely disappointed.
The measurementswere good however the quality was terrible I am able to purchase two pairs of pants for aud100 at much better quality with lining and much better quality material the cotton is cheap and whilst I thought it would be nice to get tailor made it has been a dreadful waste of money and time and whilst I planned to buy another 3 pairs and a jacket if this is your standard it will be the final time i utilise your company
Whilst you have a FAQ y ou don't seem to have a this product is crap option
In deep regret
I'm very short and curvy. It's almost impossible for me to find pants and skirts that fit as a result. I've ordered and received two skirts from Sumisarra, and could not be happier with the results. Granted, pencil skirts aren't terribly complicated, but still I'm so happy to not have something that hits at mid-calf.
I regret that I did not look at reviews prior to ordering a suit from this company. The fabric was extremely poor quality and the tailoring was shoddy. They refused to remake the suit in spite of the fact that they claim to guarantee satisfaction or they will remake it. My tailor just shook his head when I asked if he could do anything with the suit.
Ordered a tux online and received a poorly made tux of a very poor fabric(besides not made to measure). The fabric was nothing like I expected. I dealt with customer service and they were very responsive, but because I requested a refund or a different fabric their rules would not allow it. So I had to open an investigation with Amex. The customer service reps and shipping were great, but the tux was unwearable,
A pity I didn't see these reviews before...
I ordered a trouser suit, gave my measures - correctly! - and got a suit that has nnothing to do with the measures indicated, it was at least 2 sizes larger everywhere, except the sleeves, which were made ridiculously tight. My sizes are admittedly smaller than any standard - this is why I needed the suit made to measure! - but the suit I received showed precisely the same issues as the sizes I find in any shop. Which obviously makes me think that this suit was never desiged for MY measures and since I didn't match this company's available patterns either, they simply used the closest one - which was still too big for me. (Even when I passed the order they tried to convince me to change some measures because they don't match their estimates. I insisted that my measurements were right. They still didn't follow them, and the result was accordingly a mess on me.) I made a complaint on the site (the French one), they sent me to a tailor to check if the changes are possible. I paid the suit 168 and a nearby tailor said he could do the necessary changes for 140. Sumissura asked me to check with another one. I wasted 2 more hours going to another one, which gave a quote of 140. Sumissura insisted ok, they'd reimburse 35, in line with their policy. I insisted that's ridiculous since they clearly didn't do the job I paid for. I took the suit to the cheaper tailor and get the changes done. I paid 140. Despite my insistance, I got reimbursed the generous 35.
Now the suit is acceptable. But it cost me 273 in total, rather than 168, not to mention the extra time wasted with the tailors and emailing and the annoyance that they clearly expect complaints and clearly don't care about them. Unless you're lucky enough to match their ideas of acceptable sizes (no, I'm not a dwarf ether, with 160cm, just not beig enough to match sumissura's standards).
I'm pretty convinced this is a case of misleading the customers as to their modes of production - they may have a greater than usual number of sizes and patterns available, but the clothes are not made to measure, you simply get the one that's closest to what you say.
So, if you decide to go with them, I can only wish you good luck - and patience...
Let me chime in on their customer service... I found Tailor4Less online after reading an article about the new industry of online custom tailoring. I was skeptical, because one expects not only a high level of craftsmanship in a custom suit, but also a high level of customer service in a tailor. These articles said they offered both. I am getting married in May, and my fiance decided to order from their company. After paying for 2 suits to be made for himself and his best man, he was told that they "ran out of fabric" for the third suit for his groomsman. With only weeks to go before the wedding, their representatives have not budged to help accommodate him in choosing a new fabric for all 3 suits. Instead, my fiance and his best man have to pay for the 2 suits, and then have a 3rd made in another fabric. For anyone who knows the art of wedding clothing, this is UNACCEPTABLE. I am astonished at their poor customer service, and I will rail about it all over the internet, since it seems, we have no other option at this point. It is a new industry to be sure, and they are leading the way in setting the lowest standards possible. Thank you, Tailor4Less, for destroying the time-worn craft of tailoring. We might as well buy our suits at Walmart.
I ordered a custom made shirt to hopefully overcome the problem of sleeves that are too long for me with off the shelf shirts. The shirt arrived on the day specified, however the measurements I had submitted had clearly not been used. The sleeves were too long, body too long and the shape of the pocket not what I had specified. In addition, the shirt smelled very strongly of smoke. The sleeves and length of the shirt measure exactly the same as an off the shelf shirt, so I have paid for a custom - made shirt and received nothing more than I could have purchased on the high street for less than half the price. Sumissura refused to accept that the error was theirs and refused to issue a refund. Their only suggestion was to for me to take the shirt to a local tailor for adjustment, despite me stating that I did not feel this was acceptable and would end up costing me even more, as the refund they offer to cover these costs (£12) does not come near to the cost of the adjustments in the UK. I have now received the £12 from Sumissura but am disappointed by the whole affair and am glad that I did not order a suit, as I had originally planned to do.
I also had a not-so-good experience with Tailor4less. They claim a perfect fit guarantee. They claim that if it doesn't fit, they'll remake it. However, that was not my experience. I have pants that are too tight and Tailor4less won't help. They only give you 7 days to file for a remake. However, they want you to try to have a local tailor alter them first. So I took them to a tailor and she let the pant legs out as much as she could, but they were still too tight. Now Tailor4less happily points out that I am beyond my extremely short 7 day remake period and they say they wouldn't remake them anyway, since they've now been altered in an attempt to get them to fit. So basically, I'm stuck with pants that are too tight!
Answer: Don't order from this company if you are looking for a quality product. If, on the other hand, you are looking for poor quality fabric, shoddy tailoring, poor customer service and a high price, by all means, order from this company.
Answer: Our delivery time is currently 2 weeks from the moment of online payment to home delivery. We need at least 15 days to tailor and deliver an order matching our standards. It is thus unfortunately impossible to reduce the delivery delay, even against compensation, we already are the fastest in market.
Answer: Because hockerty are thieves selling crap and if i am lying let them take me to court along with the thousands of other people that are being ripped off they use to be called Tailor4Less decided to change their name when complaints became to much spread the word they are crap
