I didn't know quite what to expect ordering a suit online but, tempted by Hockerty's low price, decided to take a chance.
I feel like I hit the jackpot.
These people are expert, honest, and genuine.
I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Excellent Tailoring

I had a raincoat made by Hockerty, and just followed the internet instructions on the measurements to be taken. Then, in what seemed like no time, it arrives. It looks great, and even the tailor that adjusts my suits (from a different tailor) said, 'well that's nicely made'. He's a perfectionist - so praise comes rarely.

I'd wanted to have the tailor to adjust the buttons' position slightly - no longer being Adonis, well actually never having been Adonis, it was necessary. Hockerty immediately agreed to cover the modest cost under their guarantee scheme. Have I been paid anything for this review, no definitely not, would I buy another coat from Hockerty - sure, absolutely. Would I go back to off-the-peg coats, certainly not.

I really didn't expect too much because of a lot of bad reviews that I read about the former brand name tailor4less or so...

In the end I was so happy with the tailcoat that I ordered (I need one quite often being a professional musician) that I ordered a normal suit immediately after I received my tailcoat!
There was an offer from Hockerty, that I got a shirt for free, and to my surprise I could also order a shirt that is fitting to the tailcoat.
What can I say, the suit is perfect and the short too...

If you expect the same quality as for a 1000 suit you might be disappointed, but for 200 you really cannot complain at all!

After all I have to make clear that I am one of the guys who has difficulties in finding a proper suit anyway because I am nearly 2 meters and 125 kilos!
So the "normal stuff" usually doesn't fit too well.

I am really happy with Hockerty and will tell all my friends and colleagues about it and will surely order there again!

P.S. My suit got stuck in the customs so I had to pay 69 for the DHL guy.
Not even one day later I got 55 back to my paypalaccount and the rest is on my Hockerty account for my next buy...

Ordered my wedding suit from Hockerty, came on time as promised and looked even better than i imagined. I wanted my tie to match the vest i ordered, that was not a problem for them and they just sent me the material used in the vest, as they did not make the kind of tie i wanted. So i made it my self with their material. Top top service a-z

I had been looking at suits and creating them on Hockerty for months, always wanting, but never having the money, it was just something to do to pass the time. Eventually, the time came when I had the money and I created my own MTM 3 piece suit. Was unbelievably excited, then I started reading the reviews. Nervous. Regret. All of the things you don't want to think about when you've spent £220 on something. I was apprehensive, but the suit came, might I add that I'm not an off the rack body type and my suit fits perfectly! Great quality, my only issue is that the sleeves are half an inch too long, but that can always be sorted. Don't believe all of the bad reviews, I'm a genuinely satisfied customer, will more than likely order again!

TAILOR4LESS CHANGED THE NAME. NOW IT IS HOCKERTY BUT THE QUALITY AND TH SERVICE STILL REMAINS THE SAME: AWUFULL! I RECEIVED ONE BLAZER. BAD MANUFACTURED AND WROING MEAUSUREMENTS. NO WAY TO GET IT CHANGED. 150 EURO THROW THE WINDOW... DO NOT BUY: FORGET THEM!

Tailor4less ha cambiato nome, ora si chiama HOCKERTY, ma non ha cambiato la pessima abitudine di confezionare capi mal realizzati e soprattutto con misure sbagliate. Un paio di anni fa ho ordinato una giacca in lino. Oltre a vari difetti che denotavano la scarsa qualita' della confezione l'errore piu' grave riguardava la misura della vita che era di almeno di due taglie in piu' di quella ordinata. Alla fine mi rimborsarono solo una minima parte delle spese sostenute per sistemarla ma solo dopo avere frapposto mille cavilli e solo dopo un bel po' di tempo. Il mese scorso ci ho riprovato. E ho fatto male. Dopo avermi garantito che avrebbero realizzato una giacca con le misure da me fornite via mail (non mi fidavo del loro programma automatico di configurazione perche' non sono mai stati in grado di spiegarmi con chiarezza quali parametri vengono applicati nel taglio finale) ho ricevuto una giacca con maniche strettissime e corte, malamente cucita sul dorso e - soprattutto - questa volta di ben due taglie in meno a livello del torace. Il mio sarto ha giudicato impossibile intervenire per allargarla cosi' tanto. Quindi volevo renderla ed essere risarcito. Questa volta avevo pagato con PAYPAL e non avendo nessuna fidcucia nel venditore ho aperto una contestazione che mi avrebbe permesso tra l'altro di recuperare le spese di reso che altrimenti rimanevano a mio carico. Morale della storia? Paypal non copre le controversie per i capi ordinati su misura anche se sono palesemente sbagliati. I termini per rendere la giacca sono scaduti e quindi mi ritrovo con una giacca che non posso inodssare e 150 euro in meno nelle tasche. Tra l'altro chi mi assicura che una volta resa la giacca questi bei soggetti mi mandino davvero una giacca nuova e correttamente realizzata? Spero almeno che chi mi legge possa risparmiarsi sia la brutta esperienza che i soldi che potrebbe spendere meglio e senza rischi; siti seri per fortuna ce ne sono ma TAILOR4LESS/HOCKERTY non e' certo uno di questi. Credetemi: sconsiglio con tutto il cuore di comperare su TAILOR4LESS / HOCKERTY: non fatevi illudere dalla loro apparente disponibilta': PAYPAL in questo caso non vi protegge e rischiate solo di buttare i vostri soldi dalla finestra

Honestly, do yourself a favour and use any other site. I lost so much time and money dealing with T4L, enough that I eventually gave up trying after 6 months and almost a thousand dollars (this is what they want). I went and tried out a couple of competitors. Both competitors were infinitely better.

Here is my one piece of advice, choose an online Tailor that has a Tailor who you can see in person, that way they will do all the work and ensure a correct fit quickly and you will not be out of pocket f adjustments are required.

Horrible quality and customer service. I ordered the "highest quality," most expensive wool for my suit and got a thin/transparent wrinkled piece of garbage that attracts lint and hair like crazy. I could deal with that since I did not order a sample before I made my purchase. The tailoring on the other hand made these items unwearable. The zipper was sewn on crooked, the seams were bunched up, the buttons are non-functional, the blazer was dirty, and they didn't even bother cutting all the threads off!
They refused to give me a refund, only 20% of the value to spend on their website. Why would I want to spend more money on their junk? On top of that you have to pay for the shipping back if you want them to fix it. Also, they lied to my credit card company when I opened a dispute. You can buy a better quality suit at H&M or Forever 21. Just spend the money on a good quality suit elsewhere and have it tailored. You will regret this purchase as I did. AVOID this fraudulent company!

Carefully measured three times, sent in my order for a wool suit. Very happy to get the suit rather quickly even though it was from China. Suit arrived balled up and a wrinkled mess, no problem since I planned on having it pressed anyway.
The suit fit was less than expected so a trip to my tailor was in order. I was thinking the suit looked pretty rough but would see what the tailor had to say. Tailor said to throw it in the trash, looked like a 12-year-old made it. Not only was it a poor fit but the workmanship is very bad. My Tailor also demonstrated that suit is not wool as stated. Took a small trimming from inside and heated it. Wool doesn't melt, this melted. This is an honest assessment of my purchase. No, I'm not going through the pain of trying to get them to refund based on other reviews I am seeing now. I don't have the patience, chock it up to a lessoned learned and spread the word to help others.
Stay far away. I see that they have changed their name to Hockerty.

Whatever you do avoid this this company - they refuse to stand by their product. The suit sizing will not be as expected then they will ask for pictures - then size measurements - then pictures again - anything and everything to draw out the process. They have your money that's all that matters. They'll draw it out for months until you finally give up. Avoid this scam - you can purchase a far superior suit right off the shelf and have a real tailor make the alterations for much cheaper. This company is a compete scam!

The first suit did not fit at all - I had to pay an additional charge to get a suit which is more or less ok but the quality for a "so called" handmade suit is a not good at all. I will never order anything at tailor4less and I want to warn everybody.

This is possibly the worst decision you could make when buying a suit. There are many other options don't be fooled by the pictures on the website and choose this one. My suit was absurdly large despite taking the measurements. The satin buttons, tuxedo stripe, and detail on the pants did not match the satin on the lapel and jacket pockets (black vs. grey). The cut was terrible and the quality was even worse. Might as well go to goodwill if you think this place is a good option.

If you think well if it goes wrong I can always work with them to send it back according to their policy. Sure you can but they are only going to alter the sizes and it will take 3 weeks. Don't even try to get a refund for your terrible looking suit. If you decide maybe it was just the style they are unable to make correctly, look forward to sending them more money on a hope and a prayer.

Ho ordinato un completo in lino e una camicia sempre di lino.
Confesso che avevo dei dubbi che il risultato fosse appena accettabile.
Invece è stato OTTIMO.
L'abito è molto buono, le misure corrette e si indossa molto bene.
Preciso che ho una lunga esperienza con i vestiti di sartoria.
La camicia in lino dire anche meglio ( 42 euro! - dove la trovate?!)
Mi rimane un piccolo dubbio circa la durabilità dei capi.
Il lino del vestito sembra di buona qualità ma sarà il tempo a dire
Un solo piccolo suggerimento: Nella gamma dei tessuti non ho trovato la lana leggera estiva (tipo tasmanian) che sarebbe molto gradita soprattutto nel colore grigio scuro.
Forse è una mia ignoranza?
Comunque il giudizio è positivo

I ordered 2 cashmere coats from this unscrupulous website, not only it was late by more than 2 weeks, the coats were ill fitting, dirty, buttons are misaligned and falling off. Cashmere doesn't feel, look and weigh like cashmere, more like cashmere -wool blend. I tried to return but they will not hear it, they wanted me to ship it somewhere in Spain at my own expense for repair. It's just plain horrible to pay for some else's mistakes! It was the biggest trash I have ever seen. BEWARE AND STAY VERY FAR AWAY!

Ordered a coat. It arrived late, it arrived missing key design aspects of the order, the lapels were only half pressed, the buttons were inaccessible, the fabric was wrinkled and has a small tear. A cheap coat from Primark would have been made better! They forced me to pay for the return international shipping (to their obviously non-existent quality control department), despite the issue being their fault! I only paid to send it back out of my own pocket, because their 'customer service' promised to make a free re-make and donate the faulty coat.

Bear in mind I ordered the coat in December, It is now early March, 2 weeks after the new coat details were agreed (yes agreed / accepted!), I got a message requesting further payment before they make the coat. What the heck is this? Tailor4Less are liars, worst company I have ever dealt with. Refused to give me a contact number, refused to take responsibility, refused to give me a refund and now that I have done my part, they are going back on their word and bullying me to pay them more. Good lord, I have absolutely no confidence in their ability to create the coat as depicted on the sales website, yet alone in their word.

Utterly terrible, stay a way, it is just not worth the months of wasted time and horror!

Fitst time with online tailoring. Strated with two shirts to test the waters. They are by far my favorite shirts. The feel the fit, excellent. The fact that you can customize everything is great. I decided to get a suit next. Unfortunately it did not fit, whether I just did the measurements wrong or they did I was quite concerned. I went to the tailor and got a receipt for $85. They replied back quickly to me and let me know they will be getting me the $85 back. Customer for life now. A company that delivers what they promise is a company I stay loyal to!

I ordered a women's winter coat. After initially placing my order I wanted to change the the length - this was no problem and I received quick responses to my emails. Although the changes held up production the said item still arrived swiftly. Overall, the coat is better then I expected, it fits well. Time will tell on the quality of the fabric.
