Variety of items...good quality
I bid on several items and won some but quit bidding on some when I was out bid. I was surprised when I got my statement showing I won an item that I quit bidding on at $45. When I saw the final ticket, it shows I won the item for 80. I don't mind keeping the item but I feel there is someone else that bid up to 80 that wanted it that bad.
I'm happy to keep the canopy tent but make sure someone else isn't mad about it.
My husband and I love going to auctions and also buying online. We have never had any problems and I know if we did it would be taken care of in a timely manner.
As items get in the last seconds and an item's bidding ends, the tiles slide to fill the gap left as items close out making it easy to accidently select the item NEXT to the bathroom fan I wanted. Not only did I miss out on the item and its soft close wasnt enabled...I successfully bid on an item I did not even need.

Didn't have very many glitches in refresh. Went smoothly on the last two auctions that I participated in.
There were a few things that I would have liked to seen done differently. I am not a huge fan of the soft close, if you want it, outbid the other guy. I would also have liked to seen a video or something to ensure that what i bid on I get, not saying anything bad, just like to have that assurance
It keep refreshing like every 30 seconds instead of the 60 seconds so I had to give up on trying to bid to win

Everything was going fine over 70 of the items sold then the auctioneer or hibid put a pause on the auction after I had already won two items. They reopen the auction for more bidding from lot one on thus in turn me losing the items i had already won

I have used this platform for several years. I have never run into any problems, there are several sites to choose from, user friendly and no issues.
I really like the online auction. You get a chance to view items in advance. The soft close is also a great thing.I have never had a problem with HiBid easy to register and easy to bid.I will continue to bid online.
The bidding goes fine; but, the invoicing often doesn't work at all. It's very frustrating. Some of the auction houses can send me settlement invoices and some can't. While I find it easy to bid on lots; it's like pulling teeth to get a settlement e-mail/invoice from the HIBID system.

Everytime I use hibid I have connectivity problems during the live auction. I'm not able to bid straight from the live auction page I have to do it from the catalog so I don't get to see the time wind down correctly.

Answer: Licensed auctioneer here- auction law is that if you give notice that you need to retract your bid before the hammer falls (or the auction ends online) that the auctioneer is required to retract the bid. Actual law also dictates that bidding must start over at opening bid, not the next highest bid.
