I used to like a lot of shows on HGTV: Design for the Sexes, Candace Olson and Genevieve Gorder shows, Lisa LaPorta.
But now all I see is real estate buying on beaches and foreign countries, destruction/demolition, masculine "modern" decor (and not even much of that).
My friends and I are all 35-50 and rarely ever watch HGTV anymore. I miss the good shows they used to have.
HGTV has always been and always will be the single best place to shop or browse and get valuable information on everything you could possibly think of dealing with housing, landscaping, redecoration, cooking, baking and so on. If anyone ever went on this site they would know how great it is. Keep up the amazing work.
For instance how many times do I have to watch the old episodes of fixer upper, I'd like to see Joanna do some new homes and I'm sure I'm not alone in that thought. She and Chip are great at what they do so don't make us wait to long to see more. Love the show but it gets a little boring when know what it's going to look like at the beginning of the show, I'm just saying
I never miss this program, love the couple and their designs
I love love love fixer upper. I love watching them work together, their fun relationship and their kideos. My favorite is when they go shopping thanks for adding that to the program. I love the reveal. They do an amazing job. They make you want to move to Waco just to have them remodel a home for you.
My ears hurt. The woman talks through her nose and sounds like a chipmunk. I can't continue to watch the show even though it seems interesting.
A good show to watch very interesting even if you are not a home owner
The ending showed the new home owner cleaning an assault weapon - I can't believe you let this happen given all the tragedies that have occurred in recent weeks
Are the HGTV programming execs brain dead? Same shows over and over and over. We love Chip and Joanna but how many "knock offs" of Fixer Upper can we stand? Especially NOT the newest version called Good Bones where the daughter constantly brays and mom just cackles. Wake up and smell the coffee before ALL your viewers either die of boredom or switch channels.
This is a beautiful site, but it makes us dream and not makes us act
Where is Egypt, Holmes, Nichole Curtis, yard crashers, reconstruct to rent, etc., etc, etc. Running one show over and over all day? I've seen them 4 times and now watch HGTV for one minute, then change channels. You might want to change personnel!
HGTV, where are the gardening shows? I'm tired of seeing flip and flop shows all day and night! Also, where are the affordable design (remodel) shows you used to show? Why are you taking the G out of HGTV? You should re-name it FLIP/FLOP&HUNTERS. Please give us back some gardening!
Property brothers is the worst show on tv. Stupid acting. I actually thought they were gay until I found out they were brothers. Horrible channel.
It make me mad to see know other race but white a black here and there
I watched this show with my friends, the host Cherie talks so much that you get bored listening to her speak. Also if your going to be on television Cherie should definitely get plastic surgery on her eyes, sometimes she looks like she's in her 30's other shots she looks like she's in her 50's, and lastly at the end of every open house she tells people: Do you want to put in a offer, it comes across that she's pretty desperate.
Some of the shows are not too kid friendly with gender relationships always being pushed on shows with same sex couples. But content seems to be great
I really enjoy HGTV shows. It is a shame they run Monsanto Ads. Monsanto Roundup is toxic. Monsanto seeds causing agriculture damage and they put farmers who want to produce a good product out of business. Summary, Monsanto has been polluting our soil, seeds, air and water by chemicals including dioxin, PCB and glyphosate for years. Monsanto has been sued for poisoning people and banned from certain countries. In the U.S., they have the best politicians money can buy!
Cannot get what is so appealing about Flip or Flop; basics of the show is redundant compared to other shows and not as good... International House Hunter is the best long term product
They really don't know where you live. So their advice is not good
Answer: There are SO many commercials for Hometown ( more than 6 per hour), I won't be watching it because I am sick of the couple posing and posing. So many commercials mean something is wrong with the show. HELP PLEASE!
Answer: I agree! Landscapes, gardening... something that blends in vegetation to give a nice break from home remodels.
