What has happened to HGTV your shows were excellent at one time I learned so much there was a mixture but shows you have the same shows all day long please return to your old programming I know your ratings would go up if you did that
HGTV has lost its' appeal. I like Property Brothers and House Hunters and even Fixer Upper, but I much rather see Design on a Dime, Candace Olsen, Vern Yip, Sabrina Soto and others. Most of the shows have the same formula. Flip or Flop, Masters of Flip, Good Bones and others can be erased from the lineup. Please bring back variety!
We LOVE Fixer Upper and Tiny Houses - we did like Flip or Flop but have quit watching it because it's just not the same the way this young couple has done, especially to their children - it all seems phony now. We enjoyed a lot of the older shows that used to be on such as Sandra Rinomato, Curb Appeal, and others. Still love HGTV but too many repeats - too many island shows & beach front expensive homes that lots of your viewers couldn't begin to afford!
The shows you have on now are nice, but why so many of the same thing? Please bring back or shows. I. e. Weekend Warriors, Design on a Dime, Constance?, Shabby to Chic, Vern Yip, David. Although I can't remember all of the shows or designers you get my drift. There was a time that there were design shows on for people from every walk of life. But, no more. I don't watch very often anymore. Please, please, reconsider your programming.
I love this site Love the show. Love all of the articles. And amazing deals. Excellent all the way around...
Plz don't take flip or flop off the air ALWAYS CAN BE INTERTWINED ALWAYS LEARN ALWAYS IS UNIQUE FROM SHOW TO SHOW ITS NOT OUR BUSINESS ABOUT THEIR MARRIAGE THE SHOW IS ABOUT THEIR TALENTS! LEAVE IT ON THE AIR PLZ
The stations now all show flip and flop now you're programming is now all flops. Same old things no craft shows or re define your space apt or homes on little money. How to by cheap furniture and make it look good of fix up a badly furnished living room. What happened hgtv was good
About 5 years ago. Now it's all about buying and selling houses. Boring Sorry. Change back to the good old days. I'm turned off.
I used to love watching these two contractors for ideas on renos and decorating. With them creating new shows about building their own homes, it has turned me off both men. They started their televisions careers with shows that helped those of us who struggle get a handle on our economic situations. Now they are showing the world how big they are building, and Brian's wife with "I want, I want, I want!" What a turn off!
HGTV your programs are becoming extremely boring of the rerun of Fixer-up, Flip or Flop, Property Brothers back to back. What happened too the programs that showed us how to decorate on a dime, decorating small spaces, gardening, etc. Not everyone that watch HGTVZ is in the market to buy a home but rather finding ways to redecorate our existing home. Why not create s program for decorating codons and DIY projects. I use to be excited about watching your TV station but lately finding myself less and less watching your station. Many home owners are not really benefiting from your shows. PLEASE change your lineup, there is more to owning a home than what you are showing. I am excited about List it or keep it will be coming back on Monday night.
Show of hands... all the people out there who are as SICK of Joanna and the toooo cutesy Chip, the Bros. And some of the other repititious programs on HGTV and wish they (HGTV) would come up with something new, let them know and maybe we can stop wielding our hammers to destroy the tv out of frustration and again start watching HGTV.
Enough of the Fixer Upper, Flip or Flop, Property Brothers, etc. Sure miss the shows that teach us how to do things, make things. Enough of the staged shows with ridiculous antics.
Please increase diversity of show content! Make a garden/plant knowledge show, interior design/knowledge show, new products, how to evaluate hiring contractor/landscaper,... Tame down the number of buying and/or remodel shows. Bring something new! And don't do that with new re-do/flip show... FIND NEW CONTENT!
Let's end the pretense - obviously this is not a happy couple flipping houses as a family anymore. Much of their appeal was built on the relationship between Tarek and Christina and their darling children. Now that that's behind them, the show needs to either revamp completely and show them as business partners; or just cancel altogether. Maybe it could be similar to Love it or List it - no one has any illusions about that relationship / they just work together and have fun. And the Christmas ad - it's all about family? WHY is that still running?
I have always been a big fan of HGTV, however, I will refuse to watch any show until Flip or Flop is cancelled. Let them move on to 'Reality TV' about their greedy and unethical lives. Please take action as this is becoming ridiculous. And you might want to remove those 'happy' Christmas ads with Christina and Tarek.
Please stop with the same show marathons. It's great if you enjoy the show not so much of it is on you don't and is startig to turn me away from HGTV. I had the flu the other day. I just wanted to lay in bed and watch HGTV but you played about 10 episodes of Flip or Flop. A show I don't like. I could have tolerated watching it once waiting for the next more interesting show to start but instead I had to keep on another station all day. Come on Programing! Variety is the spice of life. Mix it up and bring in some new shows. You had so many great options that drew us to you to begin with and now with force us to watch a handful of shows over and over and over. Let's see some gardening. Let's see some new hosts. Let's see some new show concepts. We are getting desperate here.
You can't beat HGTV when it comes to ideas! Anyone looking to update or remodel should make this their first stop. Great ideas on how to save you money with DIY projects. Also a great place to get ideas on how to make the most of your space. They also have recommended many awesome stores that I wouldn't have known about at prices that are affordable. Whether you're looking to update a room, plant a garden or completely remodel, HGTV should be your first stop!
I LOVE Fixer Upper. The Gaines family is precious. I sooo enjoy both of them involved from beginning to end of each project.
Sick of Fixer Upper. Husband not funny. Wife does same interior design every time. Surely there are no more houses left in the Waco area!
Answer: There are SO many commercials for Hometown ( more than 6 per hour), I won't be watching it because I am sick of the couple posing and posing. So many commercials mean something is wrong with the show. HELP PLEASE!
Answer: I agree! Landscapes, gardening... something that blends in vegetation to give a nice break from home remodels.
