I purchased a adjustable bed frame from Walmart and added the additional charge to have someone from Handy.com assemble the frame. After three rescheduled appointments, I cancelled Handy. The company sets an appointment but there is not a person behind the appointment. The "pro" has to accept the job. How can you set an appointment like that?! Bad idea. I would never use that service again and certainly not recommend them.
Once again she was amazing. I cannot wait for her to come again. She is wonderful with our animals s trusted in our house.
I started using Handy way back in August last year, all the guys I got from them are really good. So I've repeatedly used their service. I used to think their professionals are just regular handyman but I discovered that some of them are licensed electricians, part-time contractors and part-time teachers. So most of people I've used are experienced and knows what they are doing.

I originally had an appointment for 3/10 at 9am-11am and the technician never showed. I emailed Handy thru the app and spoke with Jaime. She scheduled an apportionment for today 3/11 at 3pm-5pm and promised me a $25 gift card from target. I have yet to receive the gift card.
Today I confirmed with the new technician Fernando that he was coming today. He confirmed he would be here by 4:30pm. Then texted me at 4:40 to tell me he was 40 minutes away in Las Cruces. I said ok as long as he was still coming. When he got here he looked at tv mount and said he didn't have the correct drill bit and was going to Home Depot and coming back in 5 min. The Home Depot is literally a block away. This was at 5:30pm and now it is 6:40pm and he never showed.
I called customer service at 6:20pm and spoke to a woman that said she would contact Fernando and email me back. I didn't receive an email and called back at 6:30pm and spoke with Jerome. He rescheduled my appointment for tomorrow at 9am with Sam. He also promised a gift card and I also have yet to receive that.
I scheduled three monthly cleanings, they offered me 78$ discount in all of them. I selected a few pros and scheduled my cleaning day. They changed the scheduled pro on the day of; and did not tell the pro what was requested and paid for. She kept asking me what was needed, and I understand that she did not know what was paid for but I do not want to go check everything and see if everything I paid for is done when she is still working on them. Wast majority of the items, including the fridge cleaning I purchased extra was missed. I do not blame the pro, just so we are clear, but Handy as they clearly never communicated with the pro as what was needed and paid for. Handy charged me 1.5 hours more than what she worked on, and they also removed the 78$ discount they promised to apply for those 3 cleaning. After a long back and forth, they promised to refund my credit card for the first cleaning, however did not commend on why they removed the initial 78$ discount they had promised. I told them I do not want to use their service anymore, and please cancel my next two subscriptions, and they initially said they want to make it right and I can change my schedules for no "extra" cost; and never responded to my question on why I see 78$ increase on the rates and request on cancellation. This is major money trap! I am telling you, go to another provider like Thumbtack; but never use this Handy services. If they do not cancel my next two cleanings, they are planning on charging me 260$ twice for again another 2 horrible experiences. Run and do not look back!
We have had great experiences with the professionals at Handy. Scheduling is easy and they have always been professional. We would recommend to anyone who needs some help around their homes. We enjoy trying to book the same professional from month to month and have developed a relationship with Marvin. Thanks for all your work!
I contracted yuriy thru handy and he was exceptional from the moment he walked in thru the door, he followed all cdc guidelines and did the furniture setup incredibly well he was very thorough and professional I will definitely use him again for future work.
They don't assign enough people to do a project. They don't finish a project. So now you are stuck waiting to get the project done. Absolutely terrible.

The lady sent to clean came from Angies list I think.
She was wonderful as I can not keep up with things around here (housekeeping) the way I used to. She was pleasant, worked very hard and had everything she needed with her. Would really like for her to come back when I can again place a call for help.
Booked a time for repair of cracked pipe. A few hours before the appointment they notified me that they couldn't find anyone to come out so they rescheduled me for 2 days later. Fortunately it was an outdoor pipe spewing out the water.
The next appointment went the exact same way. Canceled at the last minute.
I think they schedule appointments and hope they can find someone. The only thing they were prompt about was getting my credit card info.
I emailed Handy and told them I wanted a discount because of their delays. They kindly sent me a coupon for $10 towards my NEXT service job. As if I was ever going to use them again.
A friend and I figured out a temporary fix and we did the job ourselves in about 15 minutes and less than $10.
The customer service rep speaks fluent bureaucracy. I'd get responses like "This comment has been added to your file".

My first time using Handy to clean my home. The person they sent me was Barbara. She was excellent. Cleaned everything so well. She didn't miss a thing. Arrived on time and went straight to work. Will definitely request her again! Thanks Barbara.
My elderly mother tried to set up their services on the website. When she realized the appointment was for the wrong time, she looked for a phone number to call, but there is none. She then tried to change the appointment through their website, but instead of it allowing her to change the time, it sent her another email with the SAME time and day. She tried this twice and couldn't get it to work. She finally decided to cancel the service altogether and was told via email that she would be paying a $99 cancellation fee. This all happened with an HOUR! To top it off, they didn't inform the poor lady that was scheduled to clean and she just showed up at our door thinking she had a job! Outrageous behavior! I do not recommend using them at all.

Handy sent me a great and very experienced home cleaner and Carey did just great. I needed a deep clean to market my home and she did that and more. Carey knew exactly what she was doing and did it with the experience that comes with expertise, Carey is one of a kind. She was polite, respectful, curious and listen to all my request. Carey was a fast worker and did my job in a timely manner, Did I mention Carey was great! I will use her again when my house sells for a final cleaning.
This app and service is a big disappointment. If no one picks up your service then you have to reschedule. This happened 3 times in one week for a house cleaning. When I reached out to the company and asked to be let out of my 6 month contract they said it would cost me $99 to cancel. They are the ones that cannot fulfill the service but I will have to pay to cancel. They are not reputable in my opinion. Going to see if I can report to the BBB.
Answer: They don't provide a refund, even when they fail to honor the agreement. In my case, they have twice (so far) canceled my house cleaning with one hour's notice. (If I fail to give 24 hours notice of cancellation, I have to pay a penalty. For them, no notice, no penalty.) They told me they were having trouble finding cleaners in my area. And if the no shows are a problem for me, I can pay the $99 cancellation fee. So how long does this go on? Three cancellations, five, ten? Forever? This is an irresponsible company with horrible customer service.
Answer: Im having problems getting paid. I told client to have cash on hand as I wont do the job. Good luck finding someone else with my skill set. Im supposed to do a job tomorrow that i have to buy stuff out of my own money and hold my breath for pay back. Ill stand on a corner begging for money before I do another job for them unless they pay me for past jobs and I talk to someone on the phone.
