I have used Handy twice and have been very pleased both times! Wonderful handy people! I needed furniture assembled and they were quick and professional. I will definitely be using Handy again.

Not only did the inexperienced hired "handy"man ruin my new bike he was supposed to assemble. Handy claims that they have sent the refund of $49 two separate times. ITS BEEN OVER 3 MONTHS. I just got off the phone supposedly with a manager and he DID NOTHING. He claims the only thing he can do is issue another check that will take another 5 weeks to (not) areive. SAVE YOUR MONEY DONT USE THESE UNPROFESSIONALS

I had a computer desk that I needed assembled and the professional assigned to me named Robert arrived as scheduled and was very professional & friendly. Robert knows his stuff! I requested an electrician through Home Advisor who then went through Handy to send someone to my house. The man did an absolutely horrible job and left me with wiring that is not to code and a fire hazard. While trying to talk to Home Advisor and Handy about the issue, they had terrible customer service and would often take multiple emails to get them to respond to me and calls don't help because their customer service team is "email based". It has now been over a month since the original man did the work (who I understand is still allowed to take jobs from Handy, just not mine).
I would do zero stars if I could because this middle man is a waste of time and money.
Initial issues with getting a pro at the time agreed, which was rescheduled with the pro. I decided to let handy.com know. But the site will not let me communicate unless if I would rate the pro even though he had not done the job yet. So I rated the pro so the site decided to remove the pro from the job and provide a different pro at a different time, even after I told them they didn't sort the timing for me. The pro who came by was efficient and did a good job. So my stars are not a reflection of the job done but how the site and the admin staff at handy operate.
Once it was set up correctly, the service that I received was stellar! Lolinda gave 110 percent effort. I was impressed with the results.
Andrew was amazing. Showed up on time and did a great job putting together entertainment center and mounting TV on the wall. He went above and beyond to finish the job on time and final result was outstanding! Definitely recommend!
THEY scheduled the appointment. THEY didn't give me the option. They just told me that a tech would be out at 7AM. Then at 6:30 in the morning THE SAME DAY they cancell. I'm paying $100 for this installation. What a joke of a company.
DO NOT USE they are unreliable. I have used them about 7 times and out of the 7 times they cancelled at the last minute. TODAY, XMAS EVE, they cancelled on me 20 minutes before they were due here, leaving me stuck for a Christimas Party. AND THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THEY DID THIS TO ME ON A HOLIDAY. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

First time using Handy for installation of a TV entertainment center I purchased. The installer (Christopher) was excellent. He was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and polite. The manufacturer did not provide adequate instructions but Christopher was knowledgeable enough to install my equipment nonetheless. Great job all around! Will use again!
Cancelled at the last minute very unprofessional and lacks any concern for the customer. Would never use this service again. Walmart should be ashamed to be a part of this establishment.
My parents purchased an exterior Ring camera and install as a gift. Come the day of install, the installer is running an hour late. So I call the number provided for the installer, number doesn't work. I call the 855 number also provided, they can't tell me anything. They don't know who the installer is, the phone number or when they're suppose to show up. All they said is, "if they're not there yet, they probably aren't coming today." I then told them to cancel the install, which they responded they could do that but the refund would take 3-4 weeks. I told them that was not acceptable and asked to speak with a supervisor. Of course the supervisor wasn't available and was told they would call me back. I said, I'll wait. Got placed on hold again. After about 2 minutes the lady came back and said the money would be refunded within 5 days... I guess we will see. Shame on Lowes for using such a p. O. s. Company. Stay away from this company by all means.

I booked Handy to deep clean my apartment. They canceled 5 times 5 days of my life gone forever. They always canceled at the last minute. One girl said it was too hard to get parking I told her she could have my spot. She never returned my call the others said things like I'm stuck at the border but yo I really wanna help you out... whatever the real problem was no one would call me they only offer email support and there is no manager overlooking my troubles to make sure it wont happen again. I forgave them and trusted them times all for nothing. The most they can do is over a one time $10 off my next booking. They even charge a $3 trust and support fee which blows my mind.

Answer: They don't provide a refund, even when they fail to honor the agreement. In my case, they have twice (so far) canceled my house cleaning with one hour's notice. (If I fail to give 24 hours notice of cancellation, I have to pay a penalty. For them, no notice, no penalty.) They told me they were having trouble finding cleaners in my area. And if the no shows are a problem for me, I can pay the $99 cancellation fee. So how long does this go on? Three cancellations, five, ten? Forever? This is an irresponsible company with horrible customer service.
Answer: Im having problems getting paid. I told client to have cash on hand as I wont do the job. Good luck finding someone else with my skill set. Im supposed to do a job tomorrow that i have to buy stuff out of my own money and hold my breath for pay back. Ill stand on a corner begging for money before I do another job for them unless they pay me for past jobs and I talk to someone on the phone.
