Fahd was a highly professional polite man who worked diligently. It was a very large assembly project but Fahd faultlessly completed the project

Carla and husband completed all assigned work very well and within the time frame. They assembled 5 bookcases, a folding table, an air conditioner, a shower curtain and towel rack and placed a large rug in the living room. The house looks great! I would definitely recommend their services to all in need and I will request their services again for myself in the near future.
I have had two bookings with Handy, one for furniture assembly and the other for yard clean-up and landscaping. In both instances the service and professionalism were excellent. I give Handy and the pros they provide my highest rating.
The first home cleaner they sent was a no call no show. Then they sent two cleaners over who were TERRIBLE, they ignored my request to clean what they missed and left a two big mystery stains on my comforter. I've now had to spend even more time than this neglectful incident cost me to begin with trying to get it properly resolved.
-I was credited a fixed amount; every time I try to schedule the correctional cleaning visit the price is more than what I was credited for. It should be really simple, I schedule the correctional appointment and it's covered by Handy, plus an additional $10 credit for having my comforter cleaned.
-The correspondence I received is single topic focused when I bring up more than one issue. I had to ask three times about my comforter and was ignored until I finally called extra attention to it.
-The correspondence is obviously copy-pasted as much as possible and is grotesquely absent of sincerity.
-I'm left feeling like correcting the fact that they sent to people to clean my apartment who had no interest in actually cleaning it—and directly ignored my request to clean places they missed before leaving—is of very little concern of the people I've been corresponding with.
Handy obviously isn't a good company, there's very little regard for UX and the company culture is ethically hollow.
Absolutely terrible and irresponsible. I paid 200 dollars for a "professional" assembly of a 1,000 dollar gas grill. The first time I lit the grill, a fire broke out under the side burner, because it wasn't assembled correctly, and burnt the right side off of the grill, and burning my arms severely in the process of putting out the fire. When I contacted them about it, and sent them pictures of the grill, their response was "We will not send "So and So" back to your job site". Then they told me that whenever I replace the grill, they would be happy to assemble it for me. HA! I am supposed to re-hire the same company that caused the fire in the first place?
They replied and allowed me to submit a claim for the loss of my grill because "they have my back". Now they now tell me that my claim was denied because it wasn't submitted within 72 hours of the work being performed. I tried to use my grill as soon as it was possible - there has been rain, snow and freezing temperatures here. This company "does not have your back".
There is no customer service. We tried to contact the cleaning service numerous times, and we kept getting charged on our credit card. I do not recommend the service, and I would not advise using it unless you like dealing with your credit card company all the time!
Skylar and Daquan did an outstanding job putting together a large piece of furniture for me. They were so friendly yet very professional and left no mess behind when they were finished. I've only used Handy a few times and all experiences have been positive so I will definitely use them again!

Joe, sent by Handy, was FIRST CLASS. I've awarded only four stars because Handy failed yet again to inform him of the exact nature of the job, i. E. how long it might take, by providing the construction details (which they could surely get from Wayfair).

Handy sent Omer to put together a purchase from CB2. He was very professional and polite. He had no problem putting together my credenza. He made sure that the doors were level and matched. I would definitely ask for Omer again!

I had very little time to clean my 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment and found Handy online, I booked a appointment for premium service at high price, the person that showed up made my money worth, she went above and beyond to complete the task.
Unfortunately when I booked this appointment automatically went to a 2 week plan and received a notification just a day before my credit card was charged, I logged in on their website and could not find a easy way to cancel appointment, went to google and called the number listed, gentleman who answer the phone couldn't speak English well, said yes we can cancel appointment and give you a refund, he never mentioned a charge for cancellation, I called the next day and had the worst experience on the phone. The girl who answered the call hung up after I insisted to give me her name. Very very unpleasant experience… please be aware of the fine print.
Most of the pros are great and very professional, it is difficult to keep the same on every week, even when they have accepted the booking they can send a random last minute.
If a pro steals from you, Handy does not take responsibility, they ask you to fill in a police report and they do not compensate for the loss. They do not run any security checks on pros, so be careful with your belongings. Handy does not look after their pros, as they are hired on a freelance basis, putting clients and their homes at risk, as anyone can join as a pro.
The app is good, the service not so much.
Answer: They don't provide a refund, even when they fail to honor the agreement. In my case, they have twice (so far) canceled my house cleaning with one hour's notice. (If I fail to give 24 hours notice of cancellation, I have to pay a penalty. For them, no notice, no penalty.) They told me they were having trouble finding cleaners in my area. And if the no shows are a problem for me, I can pay the $99 cancellation fee. So how long does this go on? Three cancellations, five, ten? Forever? This is an irresponsible company with horrible customer service.
Answer: Im having problems getting paid. I told client to have cash on hand as I wont do the job. Good luck finding someone else with my skill set. Im supposed to do a job tomorrow that i have to buy stuff out of my own money and hold my breath for pay back. Ill stand on a corner begging for money before I do another job for them unless they pay me for past jobs and I talk to someone on the phone.
