Really glad I found Handy. I had a difficult project that needed a skilled professional and Gregory was a great match. He did a fantastic job and even with the fear of a mistake ruining my shelves, Handy has a guaranteed promise of compensating damage up to $2500, so that made me feel safe about the choice.

I booked a cleaning with Handy.com. The cleaner accepted the job but did not show up and did not respond to texts or calls. I reached out to Handy.com and they said they would refund the entire $292.07 to my account. That was a lie. Looking at my account statement I had not received a refund 3 months later. I called again to get a refund, the first offered me another cleaning, then the offered a "credit" which is essentially the same as the alter. After insisting on a refund multiple times they finally agreed to refund me. Very bad business practices and customer service. I will not be using them again or recommending them to anyone else.
Tenants moved out and left stove pretty bad and the Handy worker did a great job making it look like new while cleaning the bathroom and other rooms in the flat also.

The Handy app is difficult to use and they don't have a customer service number. That tells me that their priority is themselves.
Our worker was very satisfactory.
I was suppose to have 2 Handy techs install a Samsung TV. One tech once finding out the TV was 85 inches indicated he was uncomfortable with the job. The second tech who was not in communication with the first tech showed up early, but showed up stoned out of his mind.

DONT EVER USE THIS COMpANY! We booked this company through Wayfair to put together a small dining room table and chairs and a tv stand. They were two separate orders so there were two separate bookings. All in all, they cancelled and rescheduled 6 times with two hours notice "sorry there has been a last minute call off, your job has been rescheduled). Even when I called in to verify the booking would happen, they still called off later that day. Their customer service center must be in Asia somewhere and, although polite, completely unhelpful. I would never use this service again even if it was offered for free! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!
Bought a beautiful heavy framed mirror for my bedroom and used Handy for installation. Urian did a perfect job! Needed to use extra supports not included with mirror and it's now sturdy and looks great! Very professional!
Edward and Trun both were awesome. They were very careful and very methodical. Did a fantastic job. They knew exactly what they were doing.
I have no idea how this company is still in business. Their customer service is not too bad, but their installers are not reliable, many of them lack the knowledge to do their job, and the coordination is awful! I got a faucet and the installation was scheduled with this company. 1-week later they sent someone to do an "assessment" and when they finally schedule the installation it was for 1 week later. Meanwhile, I had a leaking faucet, a bucket under the sink, and all the products that I store in that cabinet in boxes! I had a service scheduled with this company previously, and THAT TIME WAS EVEN WORST!

I like the fact that the team shows up when scheduled and get the job done in the amount of time that has been agreed upon. They are very thorough and always ask if there is anything else they can address that may have been missed. Friendly & professional.
Not impressed with Lowes or Handy.com at the moment. Purchased the new ceiling fan with their installation… they scheduled it for today. After the first hour of the window passed and no one arrived, I installed the handy.com app to check driver GPS… nothing there… so I texted, no response… so I called. Electrician assigned says he is no longer affiliated with Lowes or the Handy.com service they use to assign contractors but that they keep assigning jobs to him. Says he has repeatedly told them to no avail. Sigh… so I call the number provided for problems, wait a long time on hold… finally get a human, explain the issue very specifically… with details… they schedule it again, this time for next Monday. I get the text about the scheduling… it's with the SAME contractor. I call back, wait on hold a long time again. This time I am told by the Handy.com rep that a note will be forwarded to the supervisor to remove the contractor no longer associated so they can no longer be assigned jobs and then reschedule my installation. I ask if a supervisor is available now to assist am am told I will be contacted in 2-3 days. I will update my review if this ends well, but regardless it's a frustrating experience. So far I am unimpressed… I purchased the install through Lowes because I though it would be a better experience.
Paid for Lowe's to install a 230v window AC unit. Over the course of over a month they scheduled, rescheduled, were no shows and twice sent only ONE person to install a 138# unit which requires TWO people. When you call them, it's hard to tell if they understand the English language. Purchased the unit June 23rd and it's August 8th. It will be snowing soon, so I won't need the AC. They're HORRIBLE! I give them a big ZERO.
John is a personable professional whose work is excellent. He installed my faucet in record time cleaned up his work area. Courteous service rare in this dat and age.
Bought Handy's assembly service with a Crate & Barrel table. They kept rescheduling the visit long after the table had been delivered. The last straw was when they cancelled 5 minutes before scheduled time (and I came home from work early just to meet them). I ended up assembling myself. Now have to figure out how to get my money back.
Melissa did an amazing job. She was very professional and very very hard working. She made sure that everything I requested was completed. Ten thumbs up for her.

Bought through Ashley Furniture to do furniture assembly - they schedule over and over, don't show up and then charge your credit card.
It was a bad service, I cancelled after a few attempts to make it work. They confirmed in email that I cancelled, then 2 days later they took $280 off my credit card and still sent someone to my house. I had to deny them and have been dealing with clearly outsourced email support that is telling me that since they sent someone, I won't be refunded. This is a terrible service that everyone should run away from. Go find a an individual worker and leave this garbage attempt at a software as a service to fail. I'm contacting the BBB and dealing with cc dispute. This is the worst service I've ever experienced. Don't use.
Answer: They don't provide a refund, even when they fail to honor the agreement. In my case, they have twice (so far) canceled my house cleaning with one hour's notice. (If I fail to give 24 hours notice of cancellation, I have to pay a penalty. For them, no notice, no penalty.) They told me they were having trouble finding cleaners in my area. And if the no shows are a problem for me, I can pay the $99 cancellation fee. So how long does this go on? Three cancellations, five, ten? Forever? This is an irresponsible company with horrible customer service.
Answer: Im having problems getting paid. I told client to have cash on hand as I wont do the job. Good luck finding someone else with my skill set. Im supposed to do a job tomorrow that i have to buy stuff out of my own money and hold my breath for pay back. Ill stand on a corner begging for money before I do another job for them unless they pay me for past jobs and I talk to someone on the phone.

Answer: Wayfair is also a scam. It's just a matter of time. They are a middle man to hundreds of businesses. They sell products regardless of whether or not the product is available or in inventory. Eventually people will catch on...
