Got checked in an after an issue with a third party over booking issue so didn't get the room that we were supposed to get. Room looked ok at first. We noticed that the fridge wasn't working and had a towel in it and open. Crumbs on the floor on both sides of the bed, broken cracked lamps and the balcony windows were dirty on the inside, the bathroom shampoo dispenser was off the wall and laying on the floor in the bathroom when we walked in, found this weird globe looking thing in the cupboard, but what made our stay was getting into bed after coming back from swimming and a shower to find some other ladies boxers in our bed. Only way that could have happened is that our bed was not cleaned! It means they didn't change the sheets but made the bed and maybe brought in clean towels. Who knows at this point! I was going to overlook everything else but let you know in the morning that it didn't look like they cleaned very well. The women's boxers in my bed though was definitely the last straw. Glad that you at least compensated our room by 50% but what makes it still not worth it is that why my wife was waiting for me to get the car your front desk lady was complaining that we made a fuss over the room not being clean! Right in front of my wife! Talk about poor etiquette! Attached is a picture of the women's boxers found in my bed under the covers! Took a bunch of pictures of broken stuff because I didn't want to be blamed for them. We were on our honeymoon. Not exactly what you want to deal with. Had to give a star because it won't let you give zero!
When we got to our room the bed had candy wrappers and crumbs, waterslide was broken, hot tub was broken and no pool towels. Then they refused to give a full refund. Don't stay here!

We had a reservation and we called ahead of time to make sure 20 year olds were aloud to reserve. We walk in and was not greeted in a nice way and was told to leave because we were under 21. She wouldn't let us explain just instantly shut us down. Whoever she is was extremely rude and unhelpful, we would have been understanding if she was nice about the situation.

Our room was clean, well maintained. The pool was well kept and clean. I liked to continental breakfast there was a good variety:
They were so accommodating we originally only booked one night on the very busy long weekend but wanted to stay an extra. We asked and he said to check in the next day. We checked in and he moved some stuff around so we could have a room for the extra night.

I booked three days at Larkspur Landing in Sacramento for - it added 195.96 in fees which I did not question for a total of 550.41. When I received the receipt from Larkspur it read 405.00. It turns out I mistakenly went thru this booking agent which came up on Bing first when I punched in Larkspur Landing and had a deceiving site name such as LarkspurLanding\Guestreservations.com making me think I was on the Larkspur site. They also went by hotelvalues.com on the email they sent me. Do NOT go thru this broker! Search further to make sure you are on the hotel site! PS-I've gone through Expedia before and never have had a problem like this. Make sure you place your order with a reputable broker if you plan to use one. I tried to add receipt but this site does not accept pdfs.

Deceptive. You think you're using hotel website, but this is independent third party. Big overcharge of 40% of advertises price. No refund regardless of reason. Terrible customer service.

Regretfully, I ended up booking a hotel room via Guest Services. Their website is so inadequate that I had to book two nights by booking the 1st night and once I realized what happened I immediately booked the second night. Ooops! The price went up by $30.
It took a lot of time and nerves to get at least some money back. Question? Why is Amazon.com so friendly and easy to use and Guest Reservation so crappy?

Quotes in one currency, charged in another. "Free cancellation" but impossible to get hold of because I don't have the right reference number and my only course of action is to contact the hotel - who I may or may not have a booking with. Do not use this outfit

I had a problem doing a reservation and I immediately contacted customer support to solve it. Over 7 days later they answered simply that I could cancel the booking and that the fee would be 240 dollars. I wouldn't recommend anyone to use this website, they have 0 customer care and 0 intention to help you in whatever you need.

We booked an hour before we arrived. Thought I was on IHG website for Holiday Inn Express. Found out later I was not. Booked walk in shower for handicap purposes. Beautiful shower photo. Got to hotel. Entered room and found it was a bathtub shower. Went to front desk. They changed our room to walk-in. Walk-in was nothing as it appeared on the website. Dated. Floor outside shower was wet from dripping plumbing. Found leakage coming from shower head or hand-held. Went to front desk. Manager came down to look at. Said would be back with tools. She came back and could not fix. Did we want a plumber to come that night. By this time it was 5-6:00 PM. We were tired and did not want the hassell. I asked if she would just comp the room charge. She said she would. Went to front desk next morning to ask for $0 balance receipt. Found out manager will need to contact the "third party" we booked through and get a credit and then she can credit our card. Have received no email (as I was told that would happen when transaction was complete) or phone call to date. I had left all contact information on a notepad as instructed by the front desk person that morning. Disappointed. As we have had pretty good stays at Holiday Inn Express. IHG might want to look into this.

I booked on this site thinking I was at the hotel website. I was charged an extra $200 for fees and taxes. I'm hold waiting to talk to a manager, I suspect I will not be talking to anyone. I have booked 3+ months out and they are claiming that no refund is possible. I suspect there will be a class action suit pending.

False representation - they are a travel agency that charges exorbitant fees. They say they are providing the "best rate available", but then add fees up to $50/ night over and above the hotel website.

Their taxes and fees are not clear ahead of time. I thought I was booking on the website for the hotel. Didn't scroll all the way down so I didn't see the added fees which were more than the cost of 1 night at the hotel where we are staying for 2 nights. When I called them right away I was offered 10% off and then hung up on when I asked about how they calculated the fees when booking on the hotel's website would have been less than $50 and they charged over $200 in taxes and fees. No refunds available.

The event was canceled and I have tried to change and even cancel. Now they say they will "look into it" BUT days went by and they are not responding. I have heard they will reimburse you or "some" people but not others. I am a single mother of 3 and anything helps and here I am writing a review, which is not me. But the event now had been canceled and they said they would help and I haven't heard anything.

Have logged several complaints All ignored. I was told no supervisor available,no supervisor in building. Not allowed to transfer me to a supervisor. I booked through this site by accident. I told operator I get a work discount which she promised me would be good at hotel. Hotel said no.YOU have this recording on file but refuse to listen or let me hear it. My rate was 140 plus fees and taxes. Operator told me she has to charge approx 243, and Cambridge suites will only charge 140plus fees and refund the rest. MY FINAL BILL was around 345$. She charged me in American funds which was not mentioned this operator told me he would put in request for the difference.16 dollars is all I will receive. We make these trips for my son who has to go to the iwk children's hospital for treatment he can't get at home. We are a single income family who has to travel 900km round trip. It's not easy financially. Now I get scammed insulted LIED TO MULTIPLE TIMES with no help in site. All I ask for is what is fair. I am reaching out one last time before I go public. I have some proof myself of what was said

Booked a room for 7 minutes- changed my mind and cancelled.reservations cancelled but not refunded. Reservations not refundable. No where on the website did it say that. Would not reinstate the reservation because it was cancelled. I have filed a complaint with them, not sure how or what that will do. Stay away fro this website. Total scam.

Booked a hotel res at what I thought was the Travelodge Suites by Wyndham own site using the hotel name and location online but 'Guest reservation' site came up with hotel name and location in Bold lettering 'Guest Reservation' in small print. After finding a good rate I booked with my CC and confirmed. Then the confirmation came back with a total price of an additional 65%. 19% was expected taxes but not an additional GUEST RESERVATION'S hidden so called 'Recovery Fee' of 41%. No breakdown or explanation of said RECOVEREY FEE. I attempted to cancel the reservation 10 minutes later but advised online. NO REFUNDS. Called their 1 800 number and only got a recording saying If I cancelled I would still be charged the full amount... DO NOT BOOK with 'Guest Reservations' site unless you don't mind paying hidden fees!

Answer: Yes there are many rooms have walk in showers, I have stayed a a nimber of rooms at the Medusa, If stairs are an issue there are a few rooms at ground level. I hope this helps
